How to take off an expansion valve? 2016 Honda Civic

So after I took the 10mm off I understood I should just be able to pull it off. It was so bound up and didn’t budge a bit, is there anything I’m missing?

I had to give her absolutely everything I had, she finally popped off but it took way more oomph than I thought it was going to need.

Give it a really good yank, the Orings are likely swollen and making it hard to remove.

Wiggle and pull, probably hung up on an o-ring or something.

I think you just have to yank it.
