Which episode(s) do you rewatch the most?

The ones I enjoy rewatching the most are 2x15 A Day in the Life, 3x18 Fins, Femmes and Gems, and 5x17 Kindred Spirits. They are more light-hearted episodes with some great scenes between Xena and Gabrielle. What are your favorites to rewatch?

My comfort eps are The Xena Scrolls, A Day in the Life, Been There Done That, In Sickness and In Hell, Animal Attraction, and You Are There.

One of my many favourites is Who's Gurkhan. Xena will do ANYTHING for Gabrielle, even being tortured.
Also can't remember the name but the one where the amazons accused Joxter of being a peeking Tom.
The last but not the least the episode with Xena, Gabrielle and baby Eve at the Amazons. Gabrielle keeps giving Xena domestic tasks and they sort of have a fall out.

I love the Amazon children taunting him and throwing mud at him. And them yelling in their Kiwi accents “Pervert! Loser! Fat creep!”

Any with Meg

Callisto. Crusader. A Necessary Evil. Maternal Instincts. The Deliverer. The Sacrifice. A Day in The Life. Fins, Femmes and Gems. The Debt. Been There, Done That. Between Thee Lines. Heart of Darkness. One Against An Army.
Honorable mentions to The Dirty Half Dozen & Return of Callisto cause I've watched those a lot too.
Hour_Dog_4781@reddit
This could be my list if I removed a few episodes and added Ten Little Warlords and Intimate Stranger.
Fuzzy_Ability8284@reddit
Callisto is Queen. ❤️
Hour_Dog_4781@reddit
She so is! I love her so much and her episodes are the ones I've watched the most.

The Dirty Half Dozen was my favorite for a long time!

I'll pretty much go through all of season 4 on a loop 😅 really hard to find a bad episode there. If I'm going outside of season 4, I'll do Haunting of Amphipolis, the ring trilogy, Helicon, Friend in need. I tend to prefer the darker, grittier episodes

One Against An Army.
Persistent_Parkie@reddit
Same. When I got the series on DVD as an adult I bought season 3 first and went straight to that episode.

Solid choice!

Season 4: A Family Affair

Old Ares Had A Farm
angelichorus@reddit
yes! I'm literally watching it right now haha
Ok-Jackfruit-6873@reddit
I agree this one is the perfect escapist silliness to me.
angelichorus@reddit
Since Prime is repeating seasons 5 and 6 over and over again, I'd say Old Ares Had A Farm and Married With Fishsticks!
Sufficient_Carry_154@reddit
Day in the Life and One Against An Army are my top 2. When Fates Collide, Ring Trilogy, Been There Done That and Old Ares Had a Farm are the next group of favs. I have them all saved on my phone to access anytime.
SakuraTacos@reddit
Maternal Instincts, A Friend in Need, Paradise Found, Warrior Princess Tramp, Soul Possession, Destiny, The Debt, Sins of the Past, When Fates Collide
thewholebottle@reddit
Subtract Maternal Instincts and Soul Possession and this is my list! Maybe add Succession.
SakuraTacos@reddit
No don’t subtract Maternal Instincts from my list, add it to yours! 😂

Great choices!

My favorite is S4E4 – In Sickness and in Hell. It’s so funny in every way.
thewholebottle@reddit
Fun and very shippy.
pastajewelry@reddit (OP)
That one is hilarious. It's a little too gross for me to rewatch, but I really did enjoy it when I first saw it. You can tell the actors had a blast making it.

One against an army is my emotional support episode

We think alike! I was watching snippets of that one yesterday.

Bitter Suite, WFC, the Ring Cycle. I actually love the first one sometimes. Gabrielle looked like such a baby in that one. There are so many really. I tend to hate the whole Jesus wannabe thing with Eli
ObnoxiousConsistent@reddit
if i just want a small dose of xwp camp, i love A day in the life, or Fins, femmes and gems, or been there done that but otherwise im just gonna be stuck rewatching the whole thing, i cannot just casually watch the ides of march on a random Tuesday and then just what… leave it at that?
SwanSolo83@reddit
Warrior, Princess, Priestess, Tramp; ADITL, FF&G, A Family Affair -the porcupine monster scared the crap outta me the first time I watched it but now it’s one of my favorites, that reunion scene and Xena acting like the bad girl Gabrielle brought home are delightful. Is There a Doctor in the house is also a fave
Overall_Sandwich_671@reddit
Prometheus and God Fearing Child.
readyreadyvt@reddit
For a full episode, A Day in the Life, Many Happy Returns, When Fates Collide, Bitter Suite, Been There Done That, One Against An Army, or Return of the Valkyrie.
I don’t seek them out as much, but if I flip on my cable system’s all-XWP-all-the-time channel (what a time to be alive), and either Debt, Forget Me Not, or Ides of March is on, I have effectively stepped into Velcro until episode end.
pastajewelry@reddit (OP)
All great ones! I haven't seen When Fates Collide or Return of the Valkyrie yet! I'm looking forward to it.
SerpentineFire87@reddit
You're gonna love them both. Stellar episodes.
SerpentineFire87@reddit
Maternal Instincts, When In Rome..., When Fates Collide, The Execution, Past Imperfect, Hooves and Harlots, The Quill Is Mightier, To Helicon and Back, One Against An Army.
MaryW1965@reddit
Season 6, episode 19 Many Happy Returns” on Gabrielle’s birthday, Xena gave her a blank scroll / tablet (not sure of correct verbiage). The love in Xena eyes said it all!
pastajewelry@reddit (OP)
I haven't gotten to season 6 yet! Nearly done with season 5. I'm glad to hear that there are more good episodes to come!
MaryW1965@reddit
Oh there are so many special moments ahead for you to look forward! Have fun watching
pastajewelry@reddit (OP)
Thanks!
MaryW1965@reddit
The scene is at the very end. How do I get the directors cut?
NoReach1699@reddit
Athens City Academy of the Performing Bards, Callisto, One against an army, The Play's The Thing, A Fried In Need
pastajewelry@reddit (OP)
Those are fun ones!
Jahon_Dony@reddit
Watched them when they aired. I've seen the Directors Cut a few times... Pretty good tv kung fu movie, not great Xena. Other than that probably Bitter Suite.
