This or the retro AC are the coolest ones I have seen in real life….so far!

I have the FR24 flight of that and the orange one! Still searching for the green one.

When I was younger, I had a dream I was flying on the back of a huge turtle with my favorite book characters. I think flying on this would be as close as I can get to achieving that dream. Adorable!

Took this whilst taxing out of NRT last year.

You can get a model plane of this in HND Terminal 2

The livery looks cool.

So, ANA only has 3 Airbuses due to having to bail out Skymark Airlines and the purchase agreement that Skymark had made with Airbus. These 3 planes all fly between Hawaii and Japan and due to the drop-off in travel between the two destinations has caused ANA to lose money with these planes. So, if you want an almost guaranteed half empty plane, travel with ANA to Japan/Hawaii.

Not as empty as you'd think.... otherwise they wouldn't be flying the route 2x a day. Been on the flight twice in business and was mostly full once and completely full the second time. And this was the end of April before the summer rush

Seems to be that way. Was just going off what articles I read were saying. It was right after the pandemic, so that probably affected numbers a bit too.

I flew HNL to NRT last month on the orange one. Great experience - wanted to make sure I flew on an A380 before they're all retired. The section I was in (couchii economy) was pretty full!

I wish all major commercial planes were painted like this.
I know why they’re not, but I wish they could be.

Daily trips to and from Oahu. Crazy that route makes sense for it, but it obviously does.
EHP42@reddit
Hawaii is a very popular vacation destination for Japanese folks.
Deep_Science_5170@reddit
Yes, but 2 A380s per day of capacity is still impressive.
EHP42@reddit
No doubt.

I grew up in Japan in the 80's and 90's and this picture brought back an old memory. ANA had a contest for children to design the art for a new plane, and our teacher had everyone in our class submit an entry. None of us won, but we each got a nice personalized letter from an ANA flight attendant, complementing our drawings.

I saw this when I was last there! I was so surprised by it, it’s such a fun livery!

I saw the exact plane last Sunday in Honolulu!
Hentailover3221@reddit
By far my favourite livery! I took this pic last year at NRT

I feel like it's both smiling and frowning depending on where you consider the face to be

That's one of the coolest planes I've ever seen. Great way to fly to Japan.
