Best Online FIRC

Who has the most hands off FIRC course online? Ideally I’d like something that offers online processing for the 8710 form.

I'm in the middle of Sporty's right now and am not impressed. The content is very unbalanced in length. For example, they required 60 minutes for regulation changes, which was mainly just a few slides with the regulatory text quoted. But the section on IPC and FR was 45 minutes with 60+ slides of relatively useful information.

I believe they are all pretty much the same. Free, with the only payment going into processing the forms with the FSDO online for you.
I did Sporty's (good content, but annoying with the timers and all that other people mentioned previously). I think the rest would be the same as it's likely a regulatory requirement.

American Flyers for sure. The course is for life. I do think you have to pay like $30 or something every time for them to process the paperwork online. It's very easy to do. Give yourself time to do the course though because they have a timer and its kind of a pain to get through.

There is a work around for this.

What is it? I came up with some extention that auto refresh the page, but apparently now you have to scroll down and hit the “next button”.
Any way to auto magically scroll a page and click a button that I don’t know about? I need to do my firc this month

American Flyers - good for life. I’m on my eighth renewal this year with them
All of them have content that makes you want to gouge out your eyes and a countdown timer that sucks blocking the button to let you advance. They’re designed for people to read at the speed of the special ed kids at the back of the class, not for normal humans. I swear I’d rather go through ATP-CTP again every year.
That said, American Flyers is a good value for just getting it done…

That’s what I was worried about with the timer. Wish I could just auto go to the next slide and take the test.

There are some browser extensions that will auto-refresh the screen after an interval you select.
I have used this when doing the AF FIRC. Just set a timer on my watch so I know when to return.

You should talk to my friend Claude about how to make that happen… he’s pretty great as a CoWork-er to make suggestions as to how that might happen

Shout out to King! Some great content there.

Sportys is great. The course is free. The processing is not, but it’s super fast and easy.

Do American Flyers and you'll get access to it for life. So worth it.

American flyers made it SUPER easy for me.
