Disconnect car battery for a minute then reconnect, try starting it

Yeah I did that. Cleared the entire car and it works now

The OBD reader should have no impact on starting the car. Unplug it and verify you have a good battery. Also check fuses.
Do you have power? Does the dash board light up when you turn the key? Can you turn on the dome light or headlights? If none of those work, check your battery, cables, and fuses.
Was the car showing signs of issues before you plugged it in? Did you attempt to modify or reset any settings with the OBD tool?

The car had no issues. I checked the battery with a 600v mutli meter. Put it to 60 and I was getting 6v back i think it killed the battery. I checked most fuses but I dont think they are rhe issue

Make sure the meter is set to DC volts. It should be above 12.3. Look for a date code on the battery. Most batteries only last 3 to 5 years, but it varies depending on your environment.
