Does your e-bike take you places you would not go in a car?

I was out for an e-bike ride and went down this unmaintained road. It would have been tough in a car but the e-bike can drive around the potholes.

Yep, I was riding on so called "roads" in Wallonia, Belgium. Mix of mud and partial cobblestones. Won't go on my car. But my Giant Explore did it without hesitation. It rides by its name.

Absolutely.
I don't drive, never have and likely never will. My e-extracycle is my SUV. I've cycled for pleasure and purpose all my life; post illness ebikes have enabled me to keep doing what I love. Bikes = Freedom.

Yes, lots of trails around here where cars are forbidden

I live in Saint Louis and sometimes the city's decisions on managing car traffic are... questionable. I can actually move about the urban environment faster than cars can, in some cases. The city has a lovely giant park named Forest Park, but special events bring in ridiculous amounts of traffic and people get very frustrated. My partner and I just zip right through that noise and have a nice time.

I sometimes do that but since diesel prices are out of control and it’s getting warmer it seems like it’s my main source of transportation unless I bring the wife along or hauling something then I take the truck.

Absolutely! Mine takes me to remote locations on trails too small for a car, and far further than I would ever hike in one day.
