The pilot also flies low over his house, probably near you. That's why he after burns in a certain neighborhood to rattle his own house. Guy is former Pakistani Air Force if I recall. It annoys a lot of people because he always does this early in the mornings. Would be better for everyone if he flew out of Grayson County where there are less residential areas.

And? They're not going to be as loud as a larger, more modern fighter jet...but, an F-5 at takeoff power is still loud as fuck...about 20-40 dB louder than a 737 at takeoff.

It's also not the first time someone has posted about this particular aircraft blasting off out of ADS before 8am on a weekend morning. If the dude keeps at it, he's going to end up making the 2200-0600 voluntary curfew at ADS one that's later and mandatory.

Again, different strokes for different folks. I spent a ton of my life around the T-38, AT-38, and F-5 platform and it is just not a big deal to me. They are nothing like a 3rd, 4th, or 5th gen actual fighter or attack platform with an afterburning powerplant. They are really not much louder than an A-4.

I guess everyone has their own things that bother them.

Not upset at all....just wanted to know if anyone else had the opportunity to see or hear this plane flying overhead. It was a Northrop F-5 Freedom Fighter jet plane per flightradar24. The owner has been known to fly this plane around North Texas from time to time. I ran outside to get eyes on it but, it had already looped back to Addison airport where it just landed. At least for me, it is exciting to see this type of aircraft in the air, which is not very often in Dallas.

It is exciting. Most of the time when people get on here about this plane, it’s to bitch about how these jets shouldn’t be privately owned and to complain about the noise early in the morning. I figured that’s what you were doing as well. Many people on here have made it very clear they are absolutely against it.
