found a manual awd center lock rav4 that is super clean of rust, for 5000 at >160k miles, wondering if this is worth buying?

Depends how willing you are to put more work and money on it. You should go check it out and emphasize the engine and center diff.
They're good cars. Easy to fix, reliable. But it's old and has enough miles that anything could pop up.

Was thinking I would take it to get a ppi, qnd if everything checked out without any major worries id buy it that day

Are they asking $2000 or they asking for $15,000?

Sorry thought I put in the price, asking 5000

Oh, you actually did. My bad, it’s just the way it was written 5000 at > 160K and without the $ made it harder to spot. Anyway, under 4K would be better. I know you said no rust but everything inside the engine is going to be dry rotted from old age (hoses, mounts, plastics etc) and will need replacing. Expect a good $2,000 just to get it back to snuff.

Yeah buy it
