I've wanted one of these since I first saw it in Popular Mechanics way back a million years ago. I'm glad to see someone still has one that runs. Only one problem making one now. It needs a front end from a VW Bug, and I wouldn't wreck a $20,000 car just to make something nowadays.

There’s plenty of derelict sand rails and dune buggies around for cheap to raid for a VW front end. I always loved how the Tri-Magnum was built like shaping a surfboard.
