Why can I not visit the cockpit on Asian airlines?

I have tried asking multiple airlines here in South East Asia, when I board the plane.
Each time I get rejected and told the cockpit is off limit to passengers for security reasons.
Maybe only Europe, America etc. Allow cockpit visits?

Just accept that things have changed since 9/11. 🤷‍♂️ Safety and security first!

Not in a lot of European countries and America where cockpit visits are still allowed before or after flight.

Generally speaking, no airline allows cockpit visitorsÂ

They’ll often allow it during boarding or de-boarding. Just ask the flight attendant up front, and they’ll ask the pilots. I’ve said hi a number of times within the past couple of years on United States airlines.

No they don't. I have tried 4 times

Generally speaking you can visit a US cockpit any time the boarding door is open!
Please come visit, we are more than happy to have you drop by. I get kids more often than adults, but adults are welcome too - and usually ask better questions. It is just a matter of how busy we are, and unless we are running really late I am going to make some time for you.

One of my good memories was visiting the cockpit of a Delta 747 back in 2014. By then I was aware that the airline was planning to retire them and that it might by my last time ever flying on a 747, so I wanted to make it count. I even got to have a small chat with the pilot.

Unless you're a hot girl who wants to sit on pilot's lap.

For Eu Airlines, upon Captains discretion

At least in the US, most crews will happily welcome visitors before or after the flight time permitting (young or old).

Delta airlines let me in 2021

On the contrary, I have had better success with Asian airlines if anything. When I flew Emirates they wouldn't let me enter, on Philippine Airlines they let met enter. I even have a pic! Granted, all of these were post-flight during deboarding, so maybe try then.

Everytime I got to see the cockpit in flight, the flight attendants approached me and it never happened after I was 14 years old.

Ugly kids dv me.

Bribe the entire crew with gift cards and then ask nicely.

Have you asked Budget Airlines or Legacy? Air Asia, Lion air, Scoot, vietjet etc. would have much lower Chance than Thai, Vietnam, singapore Airlines
747ER@reddit
To be fair, LionAir doesn’t really seem to care what qualifications the people in their cockpits have lol
