Instead of turning every classic animated movie into live action, why don't we go the other direction and turn great 3d animated movies into 2d, hand-drawn animations...?

I miss 2d hand-drawn movies so bad

If you were employed by disney already, you'd be fired by now for talking about creativity.

I’d like to see Speed Racer (2008) animated. Like, I know the original anime exists, but I want to see how crazy they could go if they weren’t restricted by live action at all

People wouldn’t be lazy, they’d finally be honest about what they actually want.

I would watch this immediately. Give me 2D versions of 3D movies and I will financially support bad decisions.

I think it would be even more interesting to see a live action movie turned into an animated film.

That too, haha. I just wish hand drawn animations were a thing again. Disney's last was, what, Princess and the Frog?

I learned a few days ago that VFX artists have worse union representation than animators, thus making everything "live action" (with loads of VFX) lets you employ more labor for less money.
Everything sucks.
