Found the Sign of Mörön (with a twist)

So I did successfully found where the Sign of Mörön is. Actually quite easy to find, right next to the airport. Unfortunately the sign is no longer there, and has been replaced by an ads sign.
So I opened my Hawkstone where John arrived in town, and cheered with the remains of the sign. It's really frustrating not finding either the sign or the John, but the scenery is exceptional.
(Also the airport has no lounge so bringing a beer before flight is definitely the smart move)

Is Mongolia really as empty as it looks in pictures?

Place is the size of France, Germany and the UK combined. population is less than half of London and 2/3 of that are in the capital. It’s a very sparse place.

Yes. People are highly centralized inside larger cities, and smaller ones like Mörön does feel like half ghost town.

^For those wondering how much impact The Grand Tour (and Top Gear) have left on many of us, these retracing steps posts from OP are a prime example. Enjoy the journey across Mongolia, and we look forward to seeing where you head next! 😀
