Ive shot tens of thousands of rounds of this. The savings greatly outweigh any “cons”. Majority of people here being super particular about ammo I doubt shoot much anyway. If I loaded 1 mag with turkish and one mag with “superior” blazer, I guarantee nobody could tell the difference.

Pass on the savings towards more training, and you will be much better off.

Funny thing about “superior” blazer is that I had it almost blow up my gun due to over pressure from their pretty common setback issues because they refuse to knurl the bullet. That’s not to mention the plating vs true FMJ that can cause issues with comps/ports and suppressors. Blazer fucking sucks, has more verifiable issues than the Turkish stuff, but yet people here salivate over it.

Ive noticed the trend with gun people on reddit is that they dont shoot often, and therefore never form their own opinion through their own experience. They just parrot and copy everyone else.

I saw this back when GAFS was a thing on reddit too. So many surefire lights, unused KAC uppers, and other high dollar firearm(s)/accessories constantly switching hands just to be mounted and sit in a safe instead of them actually being used.

I would much rather buy the 20cpr steel than the 24cpr brass and be able to get 20% more training done for the same $$$. I swear some people here straight up dont shoot more than a couple boxes a year.

Also I can guarantee that 90% of shooters would be unable to discern the difference between shooting a 119grain or a 124grain bullet in a blind test.

As long as it goes bang reliabily, Im a fan.

Its true, most people dont shoot more than a couple boxes a year. But, Ive been there when I first got into firearms. I had amassed a collection of 15+ very nice firearms (Benelli M4, MK18 and various other AR’s, Glocks). But, since I spent all my funding on cool guns, I was mediocre with all of them. That was especially prevalent with me owning multiple AR’s and they all shoot differently.

Ive since sold all of those firearms to fund more ammo and training. I have a Walther PDP for my pistol, and HK MR556A4 for my rifle. Even though those guns are more expensive than the average pistol or rifle, I am now much more efficient than I would ever be owning multiple BCM’s or multiple Glocks.

I see a lot of comments about the price.

Just want to point out that the ammo market isn't what it was several weeks ago. We are either in a period of transition to higher prices, or perhaps they are going to remain this high.

Either way, I don't think we are going to see 20 CPR shipped again any time soon. The lowest price on ammoseek for new, brass cased 9mm is 25.9 CPR.

I'm not necessarily saying this is a "deal", but at least right this moment it's a relatively low price.

Luckily I've been stocking up so I'm going to hold off. I just hope we return to some form of normalcy, but I'm not holding my breath.

My range has this for $27 / 50 rounds. I'm seeing similar numbers to yours on ammoseek in terms of cpr, for CCI brass ammo, at least, and that's from places that don't offer free shipping like OP's deal does (on $99+ orders).

There's always cheapo brands, reman ammo, lower grain ammo, or steel ammo that tend to be cheaper. But lately finding 9mm brass 124 gr ammo from a decent brand at 25 cpr has been tough.

I just feel like shit's gonna be getting significantly more expensive over the course of this year, and I've been buying whatever deals I can find on calibers that I need.
