A build from the bones of my old/first build

Back in the day, I had an i5 8600k/ROG STRX Z-370 E-Gaming and 8GB of ram (10 years ago, when DDR4 was still back then money $10 per GB). Upgraded a bit over time, but it just stopped powering on one day and I wound up giving all but the barebones components away.
Fastforward a few years, and here we are. I figured out that the power supply was the most likely culprit (Mobo lights getting the 5v idle light on, but no activation/POST attempt when i tried to power via the button, also used screwdriver tek between the activation pins) and still nothing. I noticed there was no power cycling anywhere, and the PSU's fans aren't even acting like they're trying to start putting in legwork. So, I reckon the issue is probably with the PSU, right?
Anyway, I've got a 2060 12gb card on the way. with a new PSU and case. I went with that card over other higher speed-lower vram cards that would be available at the price point because I'm mostly interested in using some smaller Local LLMs, for funsies.
I was able to score a 1TB SSD+2x8GB sticks of DDR4-3600 for $100 total from a local on facebook, as well.
Obviously, I wanna stay with the motherboard as long as possible, but I think I may upgrade the CPU first - but that's a long way aways :) Money is very tight these days
Y'all think I made the best choices I reasonably could have when i was cooking on parts?

There is no reasonable upgrade on LGA1151. Just move directly to LGA1700, an i5-12600KF would be a substantial performance boost and your DDR4 can be reused.

How much did you pay for the RTX 2060 12GB? Used RTX 3060 12GB cards sell for about $200.

....about $200. I'd been keeping my eyes on local FBs and a few ebay listings, and i thought that 2060 12gb at $200 was pretty fairly priced compared to what i'd seen elsewhere.
Is there somewhere I should check for used parts in the future, because im kinda miffed at myself for jumping the gun - all I'd seen the 12gb 3060s go for was $250+, which was unfortunately just out of my price range.

I see a few 3060 12GB cards on ebay for $220-240.
Might be a regional thing but the occasional FB marketplace listing will pop up at $200.
Don't loose sleep over it, the performance gap between a 2060 and 3060 is only about 20%.
