I know absolutely nothing about building a PC but I read some things online and tried to build one in my budget. Is this any good lol? Can it run AAA games?

What AAA titles? Because AAA 10 years ago, and AAA 2026/27 are two different ball parks.
As are things like baldurs gate 3 vs Cyberpunk are very different performance areas.
DDR5 is still on the high side of price, I'd drop 16GB and hope a price drop lets me add extra later.
Likewise, that SSD will fit an OS and maybe 3 to 6 AAA titles at current game sizes, I would price down to a less premium brand for little to no noticeable performance drop.
If that CPU doesn't ship with a factory cooler, then I'd buy an aftermarket option, AIOs do work better, especially in a warm climate. But if I wasn't in a warm to hot climate, I would run the stock unit and upgrade if there were thermal issues.
I would Put the savings from those three items into an upgrade of the graphics card to a 16GB 9060 / 70 XT series..
Cards are not cheap, and when new ones release they can be hard to source.
I could then save for +16GB ram, and second SSD for games/data storage.
This carries some risk, Ram and SSD prices could spike again instead of drop. I got caught out in not wanting to pre-order an RTX 40 series card, and to this day cannot afford an upgrade, nor do I see any upgrade over my current card worthwhile in terms of cost to performance.
But most importantly, I do not care about aesthetics, or buying "premium" brands (I do buy trusted well known brands..).

For today I’d say that is on the higher end of a low end build. Depends on what you play of course.
Decent build though!

Sorry I read it as 7600xt. Mid range build for sure

I got the 7700 xt, it'll def run AAA games, in fact at 1080p its crushed everything at max settings, it can do 1440p too.

Perfectly capable of running any aaa game smoothly.

awesome, thank you!

Nothing wrong with it, great performance.
If your country is available on pcpartpicker.com, make the list there and it's infinitely easier to tell you if there's something that should be changed

RX 7700 XT is already a generation old and has no official FSR 4 support. Avoid overpaying on the used market.
Samsung SSD's are usually among the most expensive. Usually a brand like Crucial, Patriot, or WD will have a cheaper option that will load your OS and games equally fast.

Not bad at all, might make some changes but availability is the main driver anyways

This will be a pretty solid build but I might go 9060xt 16GB instead of 7700 XT

noted i'll look into that, thank you

It's good, depending on pricing.
