I used to eat Quorn hamburgers a few times a week but they are discontinued where I live. Only Quorn products available are a few versions of chicken, I never liked their chicken or any other brand of fake chicken.

Where’s the sauce?
Lazy_Law2352@reddit (OP)
Nowhere near…
Rudi538@reddit
At least that ‘ll unlock all the quorn and pitabread flavour… 😅
MadamVoid@reddit
How were the corn nuggets?
Lazy_Law2352@reddit (OP)
Quorn
freakingusernamedood@reddit
Not talking crap, what exactly is quorn? Seen it mentioned around, and I am genuinely curious.
Lazy_Law2352@reddit (OP)
vegan nuggets made from some kind of fungus based protein
freakingusernamedood@reddit
Ah, ok. How's it taste?
Lazy_Law2352@reddit (OP)
great

Beauty. Been messing around with lentils lately, but maybe I'll give this a try, thanks!
EnkiduTheGreat@reddit
I love a good laugh, and messing around with lentils lately got me real good.

Big fan of the quorn stuff. Definitely not meat like texture, but not off-putting texture and their chicken stuff gets close to flavor (from what I remember when I ate chicken!). Also it's all really healthy (macros-wise) compared to a lot of meatless substitutions.
freakingusernamedood@reddit
Can't claim to be a meatless person, but I am looking to learn how to make healthier food taste awesome and lean a bit more on that. Gotba recipe for red lentil curry thats out of this world, but one cannot live on curry alone. This is useful information and I think I can use it to make a dish or two, thank you!
Room_Temp_Coffee@reddit
I thought this was r/shittyveganfoodporn and was confused at someone not already knowing what quorn is lol
Yaughl@reddit
Did you mean to say corn nuggets?
Lazy_Law2352@reddit (OP)
No
Yaughl@reddit
Corn nuggets would be good though.
fake_fakington@reddit
This sounds like a good idea if you had some kind of sauce, and some veggies. quorn nuggets be good than a mug
LarenCoe@reddit
I think you invented Dry Pockets.
Buttery_Smooth_30FPS@reddit
"Did you order quorn kebabs?!"
Ok-Anywhere-9816@reddit
sounds chaotic lol that crispy + soft pita combo could go hard fr 💀just needs sauce for that ngl
TahiniInMyVeins@reddit
Honestly as a genuine Lebanese/Palestinian I have done shit like this. Only criticism is you need some fixins (tahini obviously) and it would be pretty not shitty.
joliejouese@reddit
As a vegetarian of 9 years and as someone that has eaten qorn nuggets even prior to the recipe change, the breading is not right. Those look like McDonald’s nuggets or the Gardein mandarin tofu nuggets (without the sauce) at best. Please don’t be embarrassed about eating McDonalds (it can be really yummy!)
Briroxursox365@reddit
omg this is my go-to lazy dinner when i'm broke at the end of the month.. throw some sriracha on there and it's actually not bad.
Lazy_Law2352@reddit (OP)
Tastes amazing it’s actually yummy
