So, recently a family member passed away, and after all their stuff was sorted, I ended up with a new Frey AM1000.

I'm brand new to ebikes, but have looked into it a bit. Seems people have complained about shipping but overall I haven't been able to find much info on them.

I have been tossing around the idea of using it to get to school, which takes \~30 min on this bike one way, burning less then half of the battery both ways. Thankfully the route is mostly bike paths, so minimal cars to deal with.

I was wondering if anyone has had a Frey for a while and what they think.

How do these stack up safety and longevity wise?
