Cultural-Answer-321@reddit
It's already in a recession.
We don't need to the billionaires to say so.
Airilsai@reddit
America? Dawg the entire global economy is facing a depression level reduction in total energy usage.
pippopozzato@reddit
Nobody is ready for what is coming ... sooner than expected ... LOL.
scotbot@reddit
Thank you. I've noticed nobody, at least in the media, seems to use the words "economic depression" anymore. Just recession. Folks, this is going to be far worse than a recession.
Livueta_Zakalwe@reddit
2008 was a depression - unemployment got to 10%, etc. Worst since the 30s. So they called it “the Great Recession.”
jbon87@reddit
They will probably call this one the maga recession
Perfect-Top-7555@reddit
Why did Obama and Biden do this to us??!! /s
rematar@reddit
It was delayed by printing money.
The only way to make a financial crisis more spectacular is trying to stop it

Thank you for the reassuring words of comfort
wageslave2022@reddit
Ok we are all fucked and there is nothing we can do about it, do you like that better?
TheBroWhoLifts@reddit
... kinda, yeah. Weirdly.

Submission Statement
Crosspost from r/Economics highlighting a very grim systemic outlook on the US which will most likely affect the global community.
Historian Niall Ferguson’s writes that the USA is rapidly approaching massive recession due to a historically dangerous combination of factors: • Geopolitical instability
• Energy disruptions
• Persistent inflation
• Structural economic fragility

The mods over there removed it.

Zionists and Clown supporters are not happy here.
filmguy36@reddit
We’ll be lucky if it’s only a recession
SurviveAndRebuild@reddit
Yup. It was going to be a recession if they had stopped after Week 1. That ship has long since sailed, as it wasn't caught up in the Strait.
artikzen@reddit
America is heading for a recession, then depression and then collapse. Not entirely sure if it will be in that order.
Also, taking the whole world in tow.
Also, no meaningful coming back from this one.
It's like a perfect storm of storms is brewing, and our only worry is if the blooming daffodils are able to withstand the evening breeze.
'I told you so' will surely get a new meaning.
ChromaticStrike@reddit
Recession is the least of your worries.

Don't leave out heavily armed fellow citizens! The wildcard in this game.
GalaxyPatio@reddit
Is that actually the wildcard lol that's been one of the top outcomes for many of us in thw betting pool since January 2021

This is what Kalshi was made for!
filmguy36@reddit
Yes
cr0ft@reddit
I believe we're talking more "depression" than "recession".
Depression is where it rains bankers from highrises because they've gone destitute, and that's not all bad...
Bigrat445@reddit
I can't believe that a year ago when I joined this subreddit I felt weird joining a group literally expecting everything as we know it to collapse. Here we are now and literally everything is pointing to the economic collapse that felt far away only 1 year ago
filmguy36@reddit
Now’s a good time to plant sweet potatoes, just sayin’
wageslave2022@reddit
Easter is a good time to pray for a miracle. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Maybe even the last one.
