What would you say our "best" snacks are?

I will be going abroad soon to visit one of my friends who has never been to the UK.
I wanted to bring with me some foods from here that are next to impossible to find outside the UK.
Given I have to take them on the plane, I am going to be limited in what I can bring to things that are non-perishable.
I dont really eat many snacks as I cook all my meals myself from raw ingredients (i.e. stuff I absolutely cannot bring with me on the plane) so I was looking for some suggestions for the must-haves as this is an area I am clueless on.
Thank you all!

Quavers, anything by tunnocks, maltesers, monster munch, a bottle of Robinsons diluting juice (i think the English call it squash?)

Always boxed Maltesers!

Can you take a pack of crumpets?
JimmyBallocks@reddit
Bring a roast dinner. If the cabin crew don’t let you in with it, say what’s that behind you, grab the roast dinner, run onto the plane and hide

They now do dark chocolate Tunnocks Teacakes and they are so bloody good!
EpponeeRae@reddit
These are the best. I never see them anywhere but Poundland, which might be a good thing as I buy two packs every time I see them...

A plane will fuck them up
Hello_Panda99@reddit
I've brought them in my checked luggage plenty of times to the states. They haven't exploded yet lol.

On a flight? I wouldn't.... The RAF banned them, but that was lifted last yr. Google it, the video is funny.
fleapuppy@reddit
Are you planning on flying in an unpressurised fighter jet?
Turbofox_89@reddit
Oh wow I didn’t know that? I’m guessing the cabin pressure makes them swell given they’re marshmallow filled?
frosteemaria@reddit
Exactly. Air bubbles expand...could get messy!
hdhxuxufxufufiffif@reddit
Never tried in hand luggage but I've taken Tunnocks teacakes in checked luggage before and had no problems. I packed them in a shoebox for extra protection against being crushed and they came out fine.

M&S super chocolately biscuits or whatever they're called. Or the chocolate-covered custard creams.
Aldi's jaffa cakes. They're SO MUCH better than McVittie's, trust me - and half the price to boot!
Pickled onion Monster Munch is also a great shout. Always gets a strong reaction (good or bad) as it seems to be a very uncommon flavour outside the UK.
I don't know if they're available overseas but I'm a big fan of the humble Pink Wafer. Massively underrated!

I usually bring M&S shortbread tin, jaffacakes, English breakfast tea & English fudge. For the children I buy Percy Pig sweeties from M&S.

Offered some Jaffa Cakes to a Belgian mate and he went "these are like Pims".
I tried Pims when I went to Belgium and they are nothing alike. Jaffa cakes are far superior.

I'd ask what brit stuff they can get there. I've brought stuff to some American people and that was hard as more things were for sale there than I'd have guessed

I was going to suggest Creme Eggs but apparently you can actually get them outside this country, TIL. In that case I’ve got to agree with the other commenter who said Tunnocks tea cakes.
Also, not technically a snack but perhaps some tea from one of the slightly posher brands? Non-perishable and very associated with the UK.
