Adjusting Foil Height of Snapfurl CF500

Is there any way to adjust the foil height 'up' on the forestay? My cable emerges about 6-8" from the top which risks halyard wrap. My rigger advised me to move the foil 'up' but I'm not sure how to do that. The foil locks into the drum stem, and then the drum locks into the toggle of the turnbuckle. I don't see a way to lift the drum + foil upward.

What you need is a halyard restrainer to pull the halyard away from the furler and headstay so it doesn’t wrap.

I have one to install! I have to be honest the instructions use the degree of approach to describe where to place it but I have a hard time doing the math on that with the rig down…

Use the Pythagorean theorem to determine the approximate angle between the mast and headstay and go from there. It doesn’t have to be super precise, and it’s better if you err on the side of too steep an approach relative to the headstay.

Usually people just add a bit of line between the top bearing and head of sail or bottom if you want a little more visibility under the foot. This will help reduce the length of the halyard and eliminate the wrap issue.
