A presentation of the French GIGN equipment in 1989.
Established in 1973, the GIGN was initially created as a relatively small tactical unit specialized in sensitive hostage situations, but has since grown into a larger force with expanded responsibilities and capabilities. It is now composed of nearly 1,000 operators.

It’s an early Surefire laser. Funnily enough it’s the same one that was on Arnold’s AMT Hardballer in Terminator. They didn’t have any wear to put the battery pack on the gun so they wired it into his sleeve I believe.
