I am mainly interested in gaming and recreational use for the pc. I am not dead set on 4k gaming but I have enough of a budget for a 5080 so i don't want to limit myself. Please let me know if you think I should swap out any parts.

Does it have to be a Samsung ssd? Other brands are usually much cheaper while still having similar performance, similar endurance, and a good enough warranty.

Great setup but I would recommend more storage. It fills up quicker than you think. Either a 2TB SSD and/or a larger HDD if your case has hard drive trays. Load your OS on the SSD.
What about fans? You can opt for an AIO which covers your outlet through the lid and partially covers what you’d spend on case fans (it will be more expensive though). Then 4 (or 5) fans to cover outlet at the back and inlet through the floor and rear.
What’s the price difference between the Gigabyte mobo and an MSI MAG Tomahawk B850?

get more storage
1tb fills up way faster than youd think. i have a 1tb nvme 2tb ssd and i am so glad i have that 2tb
youre also forgetting case fans and i have the same case.... youll want a lot of fans lol
