I ordered on April 1st(not an april fools joke) they shipped same day but no more updates or tracking information. Each of Amazon's customer support says a different thing.... help
Relative-Display-676@reddit
Firs time buying from China? Did they give you tracking number? You can usually track it step by step as it moves through a million locations.
Relative_Fault_1079@reddit (OP)
I brought on Amazon but yes first time from china.... they didnt give a tracking number yet....
00_coeval_halos@reddit
Amazon doesn’t always get a shipping number on some direct orders shipping direct to a customer. I had an issue similar to yours and Amazon this is what Amazon says,
“Not all international shipments are trackable, especially if they are Standard International shipments. If your order is from a third-party seller, tracking may not be available unless the seller provided it to Amazon.”
If you ordered from Amazon work the issue with them and not the entity that sent you the email.

It is very common for these vendors to use a "run out the clock" tactic. Check to see what your refund window is for Amazon, and what the refund window is for your credit card. Once those limits are reached, they will still be "processing" and you will be out the money. They also will ship a bag of dirt and use this to prove the bike was "delivered." If you will complain, they will apologize profusely and promise a replacement that never comes. They run out the clock and say to Amazon, "Hey, it was delivered. He didn't complain within the correct time frame."
They are very good at working the system.
What they aren't good at is bikes.
strongerplayer@reddit
Is there an actual tracking number that shows up on the carrier website? If not, contact the seller and request the number. They will not respond within 48 hours and Amazon will refund your money
Relative_Fault_1079@reddit (OP)
Once it gets to USA, ill wait like 1 more week. If not then sure I'll do that
patrickstarrule34@reddit
No they should send a number even though it’s in china at least in my experience they will give you some kind of way to track your order definitely ask for one if they refuse consider a refund
Relative_Fault_1079@reddit (OP)
Soo should I contact customer service again?? I dont have any way to contact them since its shipped by a 3rd party....
patrickstarrule34@reddit
Honestly I only have experience from buying form the people who ship it I’m guessing you bought from a dropshipper who is just basicly a middleman between you and the actual product seller/ manufacturer he’s probably ordered your item but is waiting for the shipping info aswell or you got scammed
PickleAlly@reddit
It was, in fact, an April fools joke.
Relative_Fault_1079@reddit (OP)
No the price fluctuates a lot 😭
PickleAlly@reddit
The specs don’t make sense.
Relative_Fault_1079@reddit (OP)
True but I've seen videos of it doing 43 mph, it won't get the range tho
PickleAlly@reddit
If it can go that fast, it wouldn’t be safe to do.
illustratedFig@reddit
I'm pretty sure you got scammed....
Just maybe not in the way you think. I can see so many red flags.
Shipping from Asia and/or drop shipping does take a while and on good times you should expect 2-3 weeks as a minimum. I used to be really into collecting.
That looks like a befang motor and battery, almost the same set up I just brought. I got the motor and battery from the brand itself. I'm not sure that the company is allowed or licensed to sell the motor or the battery.
If you're lucky you got a factory that makes that brand and made extras.. to sell.. on the companies name and reputation which is why they have the branding hidden. You can slightly see it if you know what you're looking for but it would not flag it in the system. Which screams scam.
So even if you do get a motor with/without the branding and the battery.. it may not be safe or up to standard. Continuing on that note I'm not sure that frame is safe for an ebike conversion. Or the brakes are. Etc.
Which is a whole different thing. Mostly in regards to a lot of 'it looks legit and safe but it is not'. I cannot stress that part enough.
Which comes at the cost of no one willing to fix or repair it. Or may prematurely fall apart or... Well blowing up.
Especially those pictures. It feels like the bike's pictures were stolen from someone who did the build themselves. AI worse case. My money says both. The bike itself says stolen image the rest of that image says AI.
Assuming you're in the places that have laws, MAJORITY of the time you can only have a 750w and it's speed needs to be locked at 20 mph or less. Not including the weight limits.
If it doesn't follow any of those you have an illegal Ebike or an 'Ebike' that needs to be registered as something else. In which you will likely be expected to pay insurance, registration on it like a car or motorcycle because that is what it will be considered. That's if it is ALLOWED to be registered. I'm not sure about those details so don't ask. I just know it's a thing.
You won't be able to drive it like a bike and it will be road legal only. If it's not road legal or unable to become road legal... Yes you got scammed and they will absolutely claim that you should have done your own research for what is legal in your area.
When I was doing my research for my bikes I saw a lot of this online being an issue and a lot of bikes falling into this category.
I really doubt you are going to be getting the same thing that I just got speaking to the motor and battery. I am not even sure if what you get will be safe for you and anyone else involved. Or if you won't get it impounded. I promise you impound fees are not cheap and they can/will cite you for other things depending on the situation.
I'm sure you did your research to what you thought were your best options...
But in my experience from researching this for over a year and some months with spare days... You may have messed up.
My recommendation... If you DO END UP with a befang motor after all take it to a shop willing to check it out BEFORE you drive it. Best case, you get something someone can work on. Worse case you have a private property dirt bike. I would be careful about the battery in that case. Absolute devastation you learn a very expensive lesson.
Final word... If you got that for less or around 1k... You have been scammed big time. The motor/battery is around 600-800 alone for a lesser model.
Sorry for the hard Truth but that's how I am. I do wish for the best because I do have some empathy.
Relative_Fault_1079@reddit (OP)
Oh thank you, its Amazon and I got it with a credit card so ill try to wait until the deadline and then apply for a refund. Its a ebike btw not just motors, etc. Thank you!
Adorable_Wolf_8387@reddit
It's a scam because you can't actually ride that legally anywhere in the US.
rvralph803@reddit
Ain't no way those two motors can output 6kw. Maybe peak at 2.4k if they are 750w nominal.
Relative_Fault_1079@reddit (OP)
I know but the actual price is 1.1k and its 6k watts combined. 3k per each hub
rvralph803@reddit
That's what I'm saying. If that pic is real it's at most two 750w motors. It's not 6kw.
Relative_Fault_1079@reddit (OP)
Wym? I mean its shipping from there and they got limiter lol US customs won't know. Ik it deff goes 40 because I've seen videos of ppl I js dont know if ill get mine since I got it for cheap
Nova_Hunter@reddit
LMAO
Relative_Fault_1079@reddit (OP)
?
Nova_Hunter@reddit
You got scammed and bought a drop shipped bike from China it's going to take about a month or two to get to you why don't you guys check to see if the sellers are in USA so at least you know that you're not going to give me having to wait for so long and definitely the bike that you're going to get is not a 6,000 Watt 45 mile an hour bike is probably going to be some piece of s*** 500 watt one
Relative_Fault_1079@reddit (OP)
I already checked and knew the risks😂 they cancelled other people's orders... not mine so idk what and Amazon will refund me either way
Nova_Hunter@reddit
So you are just willfully ignorant. Good to know.
Relative_Fault_1079@reddit (OP)
Youre just too scared to take risks. What if it does ship? And if they ship something else we'll free item for me since its non returnable but its different from the item so ill get it for free with a refund
Nova_Hunter@reddit
Brother I build e-bikes from actual quality mountain bikes not piece of s*** Chinese bikes drop shipped. Nice bait though
Relative_Fault_1079@reddit (OP)
Why would you convert mountains. Bikes to ebikes. Jut buy it from a good website
Nova_Hunter@reddit
Spoken like a person who has no means or skill to make something. Something better quality than a bottom of the barrel parts price point bike like what you got scammed with.
BassesNBikes@reddit
If you can't trust CTVVXXC who can you trust?!
Intelligent-Cat-8632@reddit
If you used a CC and purchased on Amazon you are protected. Wait it out
BXRunner@reddit
Look at the "what's in the box" on these scams. At times, they'll list just a charger and headlight.
It's common on Temu but we're starting to see it on Amazon as well, sadly. Be careful out there.
Relative_Fault_1079@reddit (OP)
True but this one has ebike specified
DarkVoid42@reddit
its normal but dispute if you dont get it by amazons return window
