Right side Rear inner tire completely flat
Lord_B33zus@reddit
No cuts or bulges? No exposed wires? Send it
HatedReaper@reddit (OP)
Dispatch said to send it

Dispatch knows best

Looks like it should have been pre tripped a long time ago and regrooved with that tread. Either way. Starter spray… and a lighter with air going back into it will knock it back on the bead and send it. You’re welcome
HatedReaper@reddit (OP)
Haha its a load im picking up. Hit it once with the hammer and knew it was going to be trouble
skeletons_asshole@reddit
Does it have a tire pressure system on it? We used to have those leak down and de-bead a tire, and found that if we just put air to the trailer and ran like hell, the tire would re-seat as it expanded and the tire pressure system would reinflate it. Not that I'd recommend doing that, but it works.
HatedReaper@reddit (OP)
Doesn't unfortunately. Gotta manually check everytime

I’ve never figured out that hammer trick. I know from experience I’ve kicked tires that seem perfectly fine then stuck a gauge to them to find them 40 to 60 pounds under the max psi. Those are always the ones that seem to blow out the side wall.

I use a 2lb hammer and listen to the sound/judge the bounce. I practiced on a tire I knew was at pressure.
Kicking them works ok, but I really have to get into it in order to feel a soft tire. Like you said, I have seen under pressured tires that kicked fine according to the driver.
And my former bosses used wonder why I will not get into a truck other than my own without a complete pre-trip. Hahaha
SchityCityGangBang@reddit
Just do it every morning afternoon and night and it will become real obvious. And hit em hard with a decent sized tool.
SchityCityGangBang@reddit
That’s not even just a pre trip item. That’s a kick the wheels while you’re getting fuel or on your way to take a leak type of thing.
HighwayStar71@reddit
You should definitely do a walk around when fueling. I've found a blown tire a few times that I never heard while rolling.
SchityCityGangBang@reddit
This exactly. Or a light out.
Slapnuts213@reddit
NO, Fireball and send it!

HatedReaper@reddit (OP)
He doesnt need to check, he's already got everything
n0funeral@reddit
just a reminder to change your winter air
NectarineAny4897@reddit
And post trip. In some cases, this would be repaired prior to the next day pre-trip.
