Bhai, why donβt you make your account public, I always see you post interesting videos of various things in Pakistan. Would love to browse through the account
This thing has never made sense to me........ It uses an ar10 style magazine but with last round bolt hold feature removed. So what's the point of having that ar10 magazine might as well stick to g3 original magazines.
They have supposedly found a way to make it cheaper than g3 rifles......but at no added capability.
If making a cheap rifle was their only goal it could have been so many other better ways.
They want these to replace the G3s not make more cheaper G3s and there is a reason why army still wants more improvements to the rifle.. aswell as a multi caliber AR. A private defence company produced their own version of the colt 902, which they actually inducted in limited numbers and still want a more refined and improved version. However the marines and police have inducted these.
Okay but this is basically a g3....... And I know about that sadlier group ar10 pattern rifle. This thing however doesn't make sense especially since bw21 seemed like a much more promising design.
Salman ali said this is cheaper to make it has less parts than g3 but other than that it has no redeeming features.
Cheaper to make compared to importing or producing a foreign rifle under license. Also I took doubt that army will buy this .. considering they have already incurred the K786 ARs and want an improved variant.. I think they might go for the AR... While having the CW series.
It's a colt multi caliber, 901 reimagined.
Cavalier group pitched it.. army seems to have inducted it in limited numbers and wants more improvements by 2027, MODP report.
Sorry yes cavalier group not sadlier group. It is an ar10 pattern rifle with monolithic aluminium upper receiver. That would be expensive to produce. That's probably why they are buying in smaller numbers
Buddy colt 901 IS a Ar10/ar15. Colt 901 isn't a new rifle, it is ar10 rifle with some differences like a monolithic upper receiver whixh also isn't colt 901 exclusive because lmt also kakes ar10/ar15 with monolithic upper receivers. If you have modp report send it i will give it a read.
We do produce the rockets but the FI isn't a A100.
The A100 itself is a whole story.. it was plagued by alot of issues that we had to sort out, initially.. I think we bought less than a hundred of those.. equipping old MBRL batteries, now proper 'MLRS' units.
They have been developing it for years now.. tested the gun.. which started life as a towed howitzer. I believe the gun barrel itself was shown couple of years back in a HIT video and later at IDEAS 2024
Pakistan often buys rights and technology to manufacture Chinese weapons and renames it to seem like something indigenous.
Like Barq missile is actually a Chinese missile that we license produce, fateh 2 gmlrs is also a Chinese missile.
Fatah 1 is also heavily ased on a100.
There is nothing wrong with it it saves and makes us money
I think we did buy sh15s.........sh15 is semi automated but if you look closely at it it seemed like the functionality to make it fully automatic like caesar was always there just never added to make it easy of manufacturing.
Familiar with the rifle....... Its a good choice. That's what basically every other military is adopting. A version of ar10/ar15.
There is a rifle called warp15. Its an entirely polymer made rifle much like g36, beretta arx but even simpler.
Its basically an all polymer ar15. It would have been very very cheap to make if mass produced. If i was someone incharge of acquisitions in PA I would have gone to pof ask them to make something like this.
They have also been testing this for years and still no decision has been made you just routinely see a video of this guy mag dumping it into the dirt.
Likely will never ne inducted into Pakistani military if they can help it.
It seems you are familiar with this platform........ You must be able to explain why they chose ar10 style lower and magazines but removed the last round bolt hold open. ( it wouldn't have worked anyway g3 bolt is too heavy).

Ar makes sense to me........ This doesn't. POF is extremely incompetent......like many other government run institutes.
Also what is k786 ar?

Dude I literally mentioned it being a colt le901 in new body.
And try reading MODP report.

Btwn, new SP gun has also been finalised and looks like the Saudis are paying for it. The gun was shown in 2024 by SAMI.
Bad_boy_18@reddit
Sh15? The one we are license producing from China?
historyeeter@reddit (OP)
Also I don't think we produced the SH15..
HIT however released a poster of what they are calling TMAGS, a fully automated system.
https://x.com/i/status/2021633883780132921
Bad_boy_18@reddit
We do produce the sh15.
historyeeter@reddit (OP)
Nope... It's another rumour like the ones about HIT producing the A100.. if you remember the mid 2010s.
Bad_boy_18@reddit
Doesn't Pakistan licence produce rockets for a100? Its well established that we do and our fatah 1 and nasr missiles are also based on those rockets.
historyeeter@reddit (OP)
Nasr was also nothing more than a quasi ballistic missile..not chinese origin
historyeeter@reddit (OP)

historyeeter@reddit (OP)
Nope, the things we produce and rename are pretty much known.. VT4/Haider.
Burq was indeed a locally produced Chinese missiles but things have moved on quiet alot..specially when it comes to loitering munitions.
F1 and F2 aren't Chinese though.. you can actually compare both.. they look nothing like the A100 or it's missile.
Bad_boy_18@reddit
Apparently, saudi SAMI was actually made by us for them and not the other way around and is a version of Chinese sh15.
Saudis have put some "make up" on it in defence exhibition to differtiate kt.
historyeeter@reddit (OP)
It's not a SH15, but Pakistani variant might use the same chassis as the SH15/truck... Saudis are going for an 8x8 platform.
SH15 is also not fully automated.. nor is there any source or report regarding us buying the SH15s under tot.
How I know, coz my old man is a SP gunner.
Bad_boy_18@reddit

What rank is your father.
historyeeter@reddit (OP)
We bought the SH15s but we didn't buy them with TOT.
We even bought a couple of Turkish guns.. but didn't follow up on the order.. I believe they are still lying around at Arty school.
historyeeter@reddit (OP)
I also know for a fact that Pakistanis developed Saudi tactical UAVs.. dudes were literally on LinkedIn lol.

The one shown by SAMI looked nothing like the SH15.
historyeeter@reddit (OP)
As per the yearbook, the 20 and 39 are still under trials by the army.
The gas operated rifle, (I believe is the 901)
https://modp.gov.pk/Publications
Bad_boy_18@reddit
Basically 20 and 39 will never enter service and neither will 56.
Maverick 22 will definitely enter service......
historyeeter@reddit (OP)
I'm routing for it too, but I also want the CW series to survive. Id buy the 39.

I don't need to, considering youve already watched his videos explaining it.
Bad_boy_18@reddit
He doesn't explain it....... Or I at least don't remember.
He also doesn't explain why bw21 wasn't chosen.
historyeeter@reddit (OP)
Except the marines and Sindh police.
historyeeter@reddit (OP)
Troops in the video are from Pakistan Marines.
