why i feel like just well operated flock of random kamikaze drones from Temu would blow up the bayraktar drone. we should do some cost efficient drons, instead of some fancy propaganda material.
I doubt they produce more drones than China or have more sophisticated ones than the US.
They are actively testing and developing their drones, so they have the best ones in the world for what’s needed in their situation. Cheap and effective drones with one task, and which operates without having superiority.
Saying that the Ukrainian drones are more sophisticated than the American ones is like saying than a Javelin is more sophisticated than a M1A2 Abrams SEPv3 MBT. Both shoots 120-ish mm missiles, but one is cheap and good at one job, while the other is more exposed but has many functions.
In today’s wars you would need both, but one is clearly more sophisticated.
It’s common sense at this point that Turkish, American and Israeli systems are the most advanced. Turkey itself is the global export leader. The two articles you sent, even if they were completely unbiased and true, don’t even claim that “Ukraine hast the most advanced drone industry”
Much better drones? It was bayraktars stopped russian advances early days of the war and no ukraine isnt making much better drones they make ton of cheap fpv kamikaze drones which also does the job and they still use bayraktars for long range missions also your country (romania) already bought 18 bayraktar tb2s for 321 million dollars now bayraktar posses naval drones tb3s and even unmanned aerial combat vecihles like bayraktar KIZILELMA
Bayraktars had to stop being used on the front line very quickly. They were effective because Russia literally had to turn their radars off to stop shooting down their own stuff. Not because the Bayraktars are some magic superweapon. When Russia figured out how to stop shooting their own planes down, the SAM radars get turned back on and Bayraktar couldn't be used as aggressively anymore.
That being said, Ukraine doesn't make any long range multirole drones like Bayraktar. All of their drones are cheap, disposable ones. So they don't have anything that competes directly.
We paid 6 million euro per TB2 - just the drone, but with the electronics and the munitions the price had doubled. Ultimately, the price for 6 fully equipped drones was around 70 million euros.
I think they are sold in packages. Need training, a command post, probably spare parts and designs to be produced locally. All in 10m. I think we already got a handful of them.
They can buy 3 Bayraktar drones, but we are giving them our Bayraktar drones for free. This isn't a huge amount of money; they could buy basic military equipment. The amount is so small that it hasn't even been reported in the Turkish media.
Considering how Kosovar hooligans made loud noises right in front of the hotel where Turkish players stayed to prevent them from sleeping before the match and how most of the Kosovar supporters booed during the Turkish anthem, Turks owe nothing to you.
I think its mostly for paychecks of personal ,food, training and showing support. You can't buy any dangerous weapons with that money. So it wont scare anyone but it would reassure kosova that we are on their side.
Imagine being Kosovar and not being obsessed with ultra-nationalist delusions.
Let's not kid ourselves. Serbia isn't the one that doesn't wanna cooperate anymore with it's regional partners.
Both Rama and Vucic have had great conversations recently about their goals to get into the EU and cooperate more on things like trade cooperation and stability for furthering their EU accession goals.
Kosovo is the one here that is trying to destabilize all these stable peaceful cooperative attempts in the region, which is why Kosovo has even fallen out with Albania.
And Albania is much more reasonable nowadays than Kosovo. Kosovo is just further isolating itself and turning into a rogue state.
Kosovo does nothing, all they do is trying to finally kickstart Kosovo to be more into the lens of EU and Nato. Its Serbia that constanly cries Kosovo this Kosovo that for their votings
Your portals never post about serbia or the shit they do if it doesn’t involve us, cant say the same for the other side bruh leave us alone deal with the problem being ugly and retarded for gods sake
It is always on the table, too bad nationalistic zeal is preventing any kind of peaceful resolution at the moment, but it does earn a lot of votes
Curiously, during the covid era a lot of Kosovo residents whipped up their old Yugoslav documents and went to the nearby southern towns to get vaccinated, so maybe it's not all bad
It is better to be peaceful neighbours in two countries than resentul neighbours in one. For one side it never was an option and frankly speaking, neither is it for the serbian side who always get a hissy fit the moment they see any type of positive confirmation of the albanian identity - e.g. an albanian flag.
We already are, Serbia and Albania. There's just this little thing getting in the way...
And realistically, why is living in Serbia not an option? It sure as hell was preferable to hundreds of thousands that fled hoxhaist regime, especially when you get a free apartment and zero bills forever, all paid by the federal budget. The way you put it sounds like the current state of affairs is somehow exclusively Serbian fault, and that absolutely zero xenophobia and intolerance is coming from the Albanian side, which simply isn't the case both now and in the past centuries.
Giving more money would cause some dispute so they are giving small enough money to not be enough to buy any big stuff but big enough to buy off small arms (or maybe some factory idk) remember Turkiye still got "good enough" relations with Serbia too or others in the region you cant go off triggering others by donating some huge ahh money to a military in the region even if we have good relations with Kosovo or Bosnia
Just good enough? Our president said that Erdogan regularly calls him to congratulate him on his birthday and on his family's patron saint day (slava), and even to check on his mother's health lol. If that doesn't constitute good relations, then I don't know what does /s
Considering greece provides zero actual aid to serbia, at least turkey is doing something. For example, a single Iranian drone costs only around $50k, so even a small budget like this goes a long way with the right equipment.
What’s happening is that Sultan Erdogan is attempting to revive the Ottoman Empire and re-islamize the Balkans. But we’ve had enough of that shit for 400 years. He’s not gonna be able to do so because, luckily, Turkey’s economy is fucked due to his Destroy the Modern Democratic Secular Turkish Republic dream (which is actually a nightmare for everyone else and for Ataturk).
Meanwhile, the annual inflation rate in Türkiye is 55%. 12 million people are unemployed. 7 million children go to bed hungry. 14 million people live on state aid. And as if everything were fine in their own country, they are providing 3.9 million in military aid to Kosovo. They are spending the people's taxes as they please, without consulting the people. We are fed up with this government.
Turkey regularly even gifts equipment to various nations. They are pulling various countries to their sphere of influence. This is happening for 1-2 decades now.
Considering greece provides zero actual aid to serbia at least turkey is doing something. For example, a single Iranian drone costs only around $50k, so even a small budget like this goes a long way with the right equipment.
Turkey gives huge money to Muslim Brotherhood. Go to visit Sarajevo and everywhere you'll see signs saying "paid by Turkey". Now, they want to expand the group.
The real question is, how will Muslim Brotherhood coexist in the same country where a huge US base is?
This isnt a first time thing . Turkiye constantly donates money to Kosova army but for some reason they decided to make it a big deal 😅 well its big emough to buy off small arms
Actually now that I think about it - with the EU stagnating and going from crisis to crisis and the USA withdrawing from the region, this might be a sign that Kosovo will soon run out of outside money to support its state. If Trump pulls the KFOR, I give Kosovo 1 year before imploding on itself. Turkiye will have to step up the lifeline, cause I do not see the Albanians or Croatians picking up the tab.
The Turks are trying to make these *? relevant, to strengthen them, but in reality there will not be any significant progress with it or with any outside help...
10 to 12y ago they didn t even have military, nor any military equipment aside small arms, they disn t have their own electric grid system, water supply, they didn t have any survailance system that are in their hands, i can keep going.....
