Spinnaker senza randa, è possibile?

Buongiorno, vorrei usare lo spinnaker con tangone come unica vela issata durante le crociere col vento in poppa. È possibile usare solo lo spinnaker senza randa? La barca è più stabile o meno stabile? Si riesce a controllare?
Vorrei solo fare una crociera tranquilla senza preoccuparmi della randa e del genoa.

Hah! Exhibit 'A' from yesterday when I was feeling very lazy. Yeah it works, yeah it's twitchy, yeah getting it down is harder. Flying a symmetric kite from the prod instead of a pole made it even worse. Would not recommend in any decent wind.

I do this all the time. It allows me to focus on the spinnaker and get the most from it especially down wind. If she starts to roll too much back ixf off and blow some air out.

Non l'ho mai fatto, ma ho sempre sentito dire che la barca può diventare molto instabile (pendolo).
Oltre a ciò, non è male avere una genoa/fiocco a portata di mano per fare "ombra" allo spinnaker qualora arrivi una raffica un po' più forte all'improviso.

Ciao, c'è una cosa che non mi torna nel tuo ragionamento. Dici di voler usare solo lo spinnaker così da non doverti preoccupare della randa e della genoa. Generalmente questo sono molto più facili da controllare dello spinnaker. È proprio quando entra in gioco lui che in genere tutto tende esponenzialmente ad andare in mona. Io da velista solo anche in una run preferisco mille volte mettere un palo alla genoa e andare wing-on-wing piuttosto che issare uno spinnaker.
Se il concetto è di rilassarsi allora quello che stai cercando è un new generation parasailor, ma non voglio neanche guardare cosa viene a costare

A me piace usare lo spinnaker, ma devo sempre stare attento a non strambare la randa. Invece chiedevo se fosse possibile usare solo lo spinnaker senza randa e senza avere problemi, ovviamente con il vento in poppa

Yes you can use a spinnaker as the only sail, as long as you have water moving over the rudder you will have control. But only in light wind, in strong wind use the jib

It might depend on the boat but for sure you can sail a spinnaker only on most boats. I think a lot of skippers keep something else up to help maintain control of the boat in anything but the lightest winds.

It’s possible, but not really easy or practical.
Without the main you lose your primary stabilizer and you can end up building a decent roll, especially dead downwind. It will also make steering twitchy so you’ll be having to tend it all the time.
Better off wing on wing in my opinion in light winds.
