If it that blue marble contains the entirety of everything we know about the world, every far off place and person and tree and animal all in that little ball then it stands to reason that we cannot see satellites which are, to within the same order of magnitude, human sized, even if there are a bunch of them.

Look at the time frame of the post. 10 years of climate change isn't really perceptible in your local weather considering the enormous amount of variance there is naturally. It is measurable, but mostly on the global scale and with a crazy amount of data aggregation (both geographic and temporal) but if you live in western Europe or the continental US you've still got it cooler than your grandparents and great grandparents did when they were young and your weather isn't really any different. The "we have 10 years!!!" crowd is as scientifically illiterate as the climate deniers but a bit more smug.

Surely you have evidence of this? Every year has a new record high for practically everywhere. It is true that temperatures have been higher during humanity's time on earth, but that is on a scale of millions of years. In recent history, it was most certainly colder when our grandparents and great grandparents were younger.

Historical weather data, yes. The 1920s and 1930s were considerably hotter. Civilizations are about 6-10k years and humans are about 200k years, btw. The way weather data works with how many different permutations of location and time you're always going to have lots of records. Especially when most records are set versus a dataset only going back 60 years.

Can you source this historical weather data? I am finding the opposite is true. I am finding that, while many records were set during that period, the average annual temperature was not higher. For example, the highest annual temperature in the period from 1920-1939 was 54.4°F in 1921. Meanwhile, thirteen of the last 25 years have been hotter than that on average annually.

We're talking about local extremes. A global annual average temperature isn't really useful except for context to determining how hot our summers are/were. Remember variance in weather is extremely large. Also remember most of the warming trend is very biased towards the poles during their winters as well as higher lows during nights. If you're looking at historical weather data for the continental US, we're still well below the rate and magnitude of extremes our grandparents saw back in the first half of the 20th century. We'll probably see a decade like that within the next few generations again, but it's kind of embarrassing seeing people cite a record recorded heat on a specific day for a specific weather station not realizing how we haven't come anywhere near the extreme summers the US saw between the two world wars.

The 10 years timeline was never about "that's when the deaths start". It was about tipping points. We've had 10 years to prevent reaching those points, we have failed. This means it will be much harder (and more expensive) to stop it now, and the consequences will be more severe. You or I might not even see the worst of it, but our children or their children (not that anyone here reproduces) will. And we have fucked them over.
We are currently at 1.2°C warming compared to preindustrial levels, and our goal under the now 10 years old Paris Agreements was 1.5°C in total, with us being on track for 2.5-2.9°C right now.
Many tipping points happen in the <2°C range.
This includes tipping points like the African rainforests (already turning from carbon sinks to carbon emitters), very possibly tropical coral reefs (mass diebacks, emitting GHG in the process), and we are quite close to the Greenland ice sheets reaching a tipping point (at \~1.5°C). We're also on track to seeing West Antarctic ice sheets tipping and convection currents like the Labrador-Irminger convection collapsing. All of which will accelerate the warming and require more offsets from us.
It's like driving your bike downhill. At first you can stop easily, but with every second you just keep going, braking becomes harder because you pick up speed. At some point, you will be unable to brake safely at all.
We are currently still actively pedaling while shouting "see, I didn't die after all!", on course for the brick wall at the end of the hill.

TLDR: We had ten years to prevent reaching tipping points, we failed. We can now only hope to stop as quickly as possible to reduce the number of tipping points we reach. The quicker the better. If we stay on our current course, we are headed for eventual disaster

There is, of course, disagreement about how much and why humans cause climate change (and other issues), but it is agreed that we do cause it. And you can see the changes yourself, if you don't care about scientific journals. Winters are warmer, summers are hotter, and there are fewer insects compared to when I was a child (not that long ago).

If you can observe changes whitin your lifetime, and know that your grandparents didnt live in a time where winters were 5x as long, means the change you see is not normal. You can attribute it to magic, or some "unknown" effect we dont understand, but most likely its because of us, the beings that have changed the planet the most in the last 200 years

Depending on the height of the orbit, you still have some atmosphere left. Especially LEO satellites experience a significant amount of drag. But even in geostationary orbit (quite high up) you have 10\^-12 kg/m³ of air. Which is significantly lower than the 1.2 kg/m³ at 1 bar, but still not nothing. So maybe one could derive a local velocity of sound for that environment? Though that's obviously not really practical, it might be fun.

TLDR: OP is regarded and I have the math. There is one “satellite” per 142 billion “square miles” of orbital space.
Based on OP’s picture, you can roughly estimate the size of the objects in reference to the size of the earth and distance from earth from the pov above.
Each chunk of space debris in the photo above is roughly the size of a small country, or the size of a large city. Last I checked, we haven’t sent the entire city of New York to space.
For any regards that still can’t understand this, imagine the following:
Categorically, there are between 36,000 and 40,500 man made objects above the size of 10cm in earths orbit.
Now imagine that the ocean disappeared, and every square foot of land on earth was traversable by car, and there are only 40,000 people on earth, each with a regular size sedan.
There are 197 million square miles of drivable land for 40,000 cars/people. That’s one car per 5,000 square miles.
How often would you come into contact with another one?
Now take into fact the following… that’s surface area. Space is tiered and isn’t “flat” like our surface where everyone is driving on the same level. It’s as if now we have air traffic involved, instead of cars.
Satellites orbit anywhere between 200-22,000 miles from earth.
So back to the analogy, an average car is 5 ft tall (assuming space debris is counted over 10cm so my math is even more generous to the doubters). You could stack 1,320 cars on top of each other per mile, up to 22,000 miles away, and none of them would “touch” if you had an inch or so gap between them.
So now imagine, the same as the original surface area as above of 197 millions square miles, but roughly 29 million “parking ramps” all the size of one car tall built onto the surface of the earth, across the entire planet.
Because space is tiered.
That equates to 5 Quadrillion square feet of drivable land still for just 40,000 cars.
That equates out to one car per 142 BILLION square miles.
And you can’t understand why shit isn’t crashing into each other all the time?
