It could make a difference if she was something else, like Ukrainean, Russian, Jewish, or German. Slovenian feels like the most neutral choice possible.

Let's be honest, many Eastern European and Balkan women do go around looking for wealthy foreigners, especially the subset that works in modeling. I highly doubt German models have the same gold-digging mentality as their Balkan and Eastern European counterparts.
