I still had mine, and used mine, in my 2002 Ford truck. Unfortunately the truck was a Super Duty with a 7.3L diesel, which is very popular and it was stolen, WITH my original CD bag and CD's all the way back to the 90's.

This happened about three years ago, and I still kick myself in the ass for it. I was really safe with my truck, it was a very sudden and quick thing. I now have anti-theft on all my vehicles because of it.

Not the end of the world, but end of an era for sure.

Memory unlocked: In college, I was smoking a joint with a guy I didn't know very well, I knew him from a class or something. It was night, and we were walking through one of the parking lots to get to the dorms or something. He starts checking handles, and within minutes has found someone's CD book in the bed of their truck.

I didn't hang out with him after that, and I stopped leaving all my CDs in the car.

Also, did your car have a built in CD player? Or did you have the cool radio signal box? Or, like me, did you have the magical cassette tape?
