The 22MWR only goes up to a 10 rounder 😭 I searched high and low for a larger capacity until I discovered they don't exist, cause I also reckon it would look better with a slightly larger mag... 22LR versions can fit up to a 25 round mag, but those look way over the top haha around the length of the pistol grip is perfect imo, so the 10s fall a bit short.

They are fantastic guns though. Nicely made with a solid feel, and firing feels crisp. The trigger is a bit heavier than I was used to, but I'm used to it after a few hundred rounds, so everything else feels a bit light now.

I'm always a fan of the old school timber stock stuff in general, especially lever actions for plinking, but this came up for sale and I took it for a test and suddenly liked the modern tactical stuff... The Magnums have surprisingly more kick than the 22LRs, and they are WAY louder. This will double up as a medium game hunting rifle for me, as it's much more capable than my 22LR for anything bigger than rabbits!
