Anybody else in dfw feel kinda bad like headaches, burning up but not really hot and heart palpitations. is it the weather ? like I feel like crap lol its started today
Agile_Focus6496@reddit
Was muggy af in eastern dfw yesterday, unpleasant, drink some electrolytes, will make the palpitations go away if ur dehydrated or drink.
BizzyBlonde12@reddit
Yes almost the same exact thing
BCMBCG@reddit
Feeling great today with the rain.
DaAlmight3@reddit
Literally thought I was going to die yesterday, I was out all day I’m convinced there’s something in the air because I’ve been inside all day and haven’t had a single symptom
Mammoth_Mixture4735@reddit (OP)
Yea Dallas is pretty bad lately with air quality and pollen and many pressure changes. Its becoming difficult to live here
medullaoblongtatas@reddit
Mmmmmmm, this sounds like either a virus or, if the heart palpitations are new, something cardiac related (high BP/MI/etc). Regardless, I recommend a visit to your PCP or urgent care!
Elegant_Section_6861@reddit
My whole family has been sick with something. I’m currently sick with sore throat and runny nose. Not sure if it’s allergies or not, but we have pollen coating everything over here.
IslandGrl76@reddit
I’ve had a headache and digestive issues for a couple weeks now. I did have a dry cough for about a week, but Covid negative
SadAdministration438@reddit
Not necessarily for me though these weather swings are annoying but typical for Dallas ig.
thrmightywren@reddit
Was fine up until Tuesday night. A bomb went off in my sinuses and I got hit with a massive weight of symptoms. The worst was the sinus pressure that made it feel like there was a brick stuck in my face. I also have been dealing with chills off and on since that day. Today has been the first day I haven't felt completely like garbage.

StellaPeekaboo@reddit
yeah it's the weather.
the reason why isnt well-studied, but it's well-documented that changes in weather cause body aches & fatigue & headaches. Best to take it easy today.
I've been laying in bed all morning. Chronic pain started flaring up yesterday. It's a bit better now, but still feels bad.
Thank God it's Saturday. My heart goes out to everyone who has to drag themselves into work today.
MemoryOfRagnarok@reddit
Full moon yesterday.
Competitive_Cheek607@reddit
My allergies starting kicking my ass out of nowhere yesterday and have been as bad today, although now I’m starting to wonder if I’m actually sick. I’m hoping it’s just something the wind blew in and the rain tomorrow will take care of it
Grendels@reddit
It was bad for me and I had a fever. Called off work though which was nice, alwaya greatful for an opportunity to not work. But it's crazy so many people are experiencing this.
Potential-Cut-8934@reddit
lol go to the fugging doctor you prolly have covid or the flu?
Mammoth_Mixture4735@reddit (OP)
Everything actually just went away when it started raining. Its such a relief
Potential-Cut-8934@reddit
Sounds like you have allergies to something that grows in the spring. Take Claritin every day and use Flonase after the shower.
No_Stage_8445@reddit
Sinus infections galore with the hot/cold weather 😩
DingusCat@reddit
Yeah. It's not as bad right now but yesterday my fiance and I were dying. Runny nose. My chest hurt (asthma pain). Bleghhhhhhhhhh
Mammoth_Mixture4735@reddit (OP)
Yea im feeling like i have asthma symptoms some days. Like air trapping or something like my lungs feel full and i take breaths but it doesnt anything and i feel like im suffocating
Potential-Cut-8934@reddit
Get an std check while you’re there at the doc too
Mammoth_Mixture4735@reddit (OP)

I have terrible allergies too, OP - probably the weather as wild as that seems. Hope you feel better m8
Mammoth_Mixture4735@reddit (OP)
I did not down vote you, im upvoting. Yea it started raining and the headache went away and I feel normal again thank god
4ofheartz@reddit
It’s the air pressure change with cold fronts for me. Yes, makes me feel awful.
Mammoth_Mixture4735@reddit (OP)
This is what i suspect, it hasn't happened to me in awhile but I just looked at the news and a storm is coming makes sense now.
DFW_DADDY@reddit
Storms and cold fronts make me feel icky. Once they are passed I’m good
Comfortable-Spell-75@reddit
Pollen is pwning me.
Mammoth_Mixture4735@reddit (OP)
It just started sprinkling a little and it all went away just now i guess it was the pressure change
Lyuseefur@reddit
Covid going around too

Site that gives you daily pollen count and source. This week has been one of the worst I've seen, 11.5 and up (1> 12 scale).
As stated - Many are sensitive to weather/ barometric pressure changes too.

raw2082@reddit
My office has been since the last month. Definitely something going around.
Sparrow75@reddit
Spring is hard for me. I don’t have allergies necessarily, but I do get migraines from the constant pressure changes. It’s been worse this year for me personally so I’ve been increasing water intake/electrolytes and magnesium supplements.
mdperino@reddit
I caught the good old fashioned flu this week so I’m blaming that
corporate_subsidy@reddit
Kinda, yeah. Like freezing cold but sweaty and headache. And having really vivid weird dreams for the past couple nights. But thermometer says no fever and I don't have any respiratory stuff.
Also, been reeaallly emotional, which is something I've always noticed in the past before coming down hard with the flu. Like I'll have a big, crying, crash out and wake up the next morning with actual fever and undeniable flu symptoms and go get a positive test. I know that's not generally recognized flu/respiratory infection sign, but it's pretty reliable for me so I'm tossing it in, just because it's nice to express my current state of being and thoughts thereon.
Even-Boysenberry-127@reddit
Sinus congestion definitely. It also drains my energy.
ArmWarm8743@reddit
I’ve had a headache all day. I feel like I feel like this every spring.
Deslexia@reddit
Cedar pollen perhaps?! 🙏
rin_the_red@reddit
I have, what I suspect, is a viral cold- sore throat, sinus pressure/headache, feeling overheated but not full blown hot flash or feverish, intermittently productive cough with cloudy/yellow mucus, post-nasal drip. If I don't feel better by Monday, I'll go to the doctor. (In the meantime, hot tea with honey for my throat/cough, plenty of fluids[and maintaining electrolyte balance], as much rest as I can muster, and masking at work+hand hygiene.)
ekimmd24@reddit
I feel the same today, was fine when I went sleep last night.

Just you.
deebo7741@reddit
I thought I just had bad allergies earlier this week but tested positive for Flu B the other day
Open_Cricket_2127@reddit
Do you have a doctor? JK it's probably just allergies. But then again...
