AIM Surplus lack of photos?

I'm looking at surplus guns on AIM Surplus and they only show one side of the gun for some surplus guns and have multiple pics for others. Is this suspicious or is AIM pretty upstanding? I emailed about one gun and they said it was "because all of the guns in the lot don't match, so photos wouldn't be representative."

Pretty typical for surplus firearms. Some vendors offer a “hand select” for a fee where they pick the best of the next five or so from the rack. The best or rarest pieces will get listed individually like you expect them too.

With places like Moka's rifus and other surplus dealers they'll at minimum show a picture of the "typical" left and right sides of the gun. Idk, just seems sketchy that they won't show half of even 1 example

They might not have a lot of pictures for every gun but they aren’t sketchy. Get on YouTube and search people’s experiences, there are plenty of reviews for guns that were purchased from them. They also have customer reviews on their site. You wanna talk sketchy? Look into buying surplus from PSA…

PSA sells surplus? that's new to me

AIM is semi-local to me and they’re a bunch of great dudes. They’re not gonna sell you something that doesn’t go bang, but sometimes the shit has wear and tear and it’s luck of the draw what you get. It usually says in the description what to expect.
Me personally, I’d send it on whatever you’re looking at.

Good to know

Surplus comes in different conditions so that's probably why, you may just end up with whatever. That's most places, going around locally is your best option to be able to look at it

I've bought plenty of surplus guns from other sources before, I'm just not used to the seller only having one picture. It feels wrong

Well idk what to tell you, it's just their standard I guess
