Are there any sweets like effervescent vitamin tablets?

I’ve acquired a taste for sucking and nibbling on my daily effervescent vitamin tablet (don’t judge me), but I can only have one a day. Are there any similar sweets that give the same fizz? All the ”fizzy” sweets I’ve tried have just been very acidic.

You want the sherbet fruits that M&S discontinued in about 2000. Solid lump of sherbet in middle. Delicious!

sherbet dip dabs, if they even make them any more!

KSI?

I’ve never heard of KSI, I’ll have a look. At this rate I’ll have to make my own

Haha he’s a YouTuber but he had unknowingly been eating whole electrolyte tablets instead of diluting them before a charity football match lol

My favourite sweets when I was a kid were like that, but I last saw them in 1981…

Lucozade dextrose energy tablets, I love them…my tooth enamel not so much though

Do you find these help with energy? I keep meaning to try something like them.

Not at all, but I like the mouthfeel:)

Like refreshers?
moremattymattmatt@reddit (OP)
Refreshers are the closest I’ve found but are poor cousin to the awesome effervescent tablets!

refreshers say hello!
not quite as in-your-face, but love hearts are sorta like that too
Vequihellin@reddit
Came to the comments to suggest Love Hearts too. Fizzy Jerks would have been perfect for this if they were still around.

I wish I enjoyed my effervescent vitamins, they always make me gag. If you feel like taking them for me feel free 😌
Oofoofoof969@reddit
As others have mentioned, refreshers.
Really glad you knew to only have one OP, seriously. A scary amount of people don’t realise you can overdose your system with vitamins and minerals if you take more than the recommended supplement amounts.

Aye read about what happened to Arctic explorers when they ate the livers of their sled dogs in emergency. Same goes with polar bear liver or seals.
Fucks you up.

Doesn’t even need to be that extreme unfortunately. The most common is Vitamin D and C poisoning because people feel under the weather and think ‘Vitamin D/C helps with energy and immunity’ and no joke, just completely ignore the vitamin intake recommendation on the bottle and will take 5+ a day, more common than you’d like to think.

I like to think of it as natural selection. But sadly medical science now intervenes 😒😂

A succulent sled dog liver?
Far_Organization_655@reddit
They referenced this in The Pitt's latest episode!

I look forward to the doctor Mike episode that reacts to it haha

I've just done exactly that! (Vitamin C ones.)
Refreshers would be similar.

Refreshers, sherbet lemons or anything else with sherbet.
