"forgotten weapons" match

Sooo, title sets the premise. Personally, I'm a huge fan of Ian's videos where he shoots a bug match with older or obscure firearms as I'm sure everyone else is too.
Recently I started doing themed matches for my club and I had the thought of "wouldn't it be cool" if there was an official "themed" match where everyone had to have something obscure????
I mean, there's Glock matches where you HAVE to have a Glock to participant shoot sig matches and so on.
(Not promoting my Club, just saying) My club is in South East va, right on the border of wv, and not far from where the moons out matches are held. I'd love to set up an annual forgotten weapons match with stages specifically designed for older hand guns. Cosplay and period dress optional but encouraged.
Is this something anyone else thinks is cool?
What are the odds Ian would geek out about this and come? (Ian???)
Where else would we be able to see a semmerling lm4 go head to head against some obscure firearm chambered in French long?

I would definitely do something like that. Although I'm not close enough in your particular case

Who knows, if it's something enough people like the idea of, we could have a couple in different areas.
I took a lm4 and a colt 1903 pocket hammerless to the bug match today. The 1903 has the tiniest sites to ever have a hand gun, and the 32acp couldn't knock down ANY of the steel, but the lm4 was a tack driver.
