Trying to find a marine electrician in St. Pete.

I have a 28.5 Hunter in St. Pete and am wanting to install Solar, an inverter charger, and beef up my current battery set up. You'd think it would be easy to find someone, but the guy I found and hired just came in and dismantled my current setup and sent me a bill. When I asked about the additional work I needed done, he kinda admitted he wasn't comfortable doing the job. I have looked up online who else I could contact, but I'm wondering if anyone on here knows anyone.

I'm currently swamped with work so I don't have down time, but one option is a Zoom consult. In the off season, I do video work with people that want to DIY and learn their own boat/skills. Pretty sure I'm not the only one who has thought of this - if you can't find someone local might be worth seeing if anyone can walk you through it. Worth a search at least, lots of good techs out there.

Looks like you just got half the job done for free :D
I assume you didn't pay him?

Not yet, lol. He did some repairs to my bilge, but yeah I'm only paying for the work that was done.
