So, here is what ya do, and this is really shitty, so it's your conscience that will eat you up, but use it for mischief, not evil. Get a VPN and logon, then go to Protonmail and make an account. If you have a throw away email address use it for verification but then close it down. Now Protonmail is an encrypted, secure and anonymous email service, used by whistleblowers, people leaking to the press and whatnot. Look up the people who you want to notify and, copy the two love birds and send that anonymous email. Nothing to make a D go limp like getting called out to the upper brass.

The reality is that most companies don't care. If one is a direct supervisor of another they may investigate and the outcome will likely be that the reporting relationship is changed so the underling (pun intended) reports to someone else. Your plan for revenge is a non-starter. I'm sorry this is happening to you.

Just report the affair to HR anonymously. Companies don’t fuck about with inter-office relationships that are undisclosed to HR. Maybe not unethical, but it’s the fastest and most direct.

Depends on the company. I worked at a place where one of the managers was slipping it to one of the HR people. Both married, both had kids. Absolutely pathetic. The HR woman was standing in as head of HR at the time while they were recruiting for the role, she didn't get the job but everyone thought she would have gotten it if the affair didn't happen. The guy kept his job but eventually left of his own accord. The director apparently made it very clear the he wanted to sack the guy but he contacted corporate HR and was told he didn't have grounds to sack him.

I would probably hire a PI to get more evidence if you don't have enough then present all that evidence (beyond reasonable doubt) to a CEO or much higher up suggesting that the relationship was or will be negative for the business. In a large enough company they should be enough to get both fired. Maybe consult a lawyer for tips and angles that free Reddit advice can't provide. If it doesn't work then you could provide the evidence to suppliers who work with either cheating employee to see if they're interested in blackmail. Does the other party also have a spouse or girlfriend?

If there's no one to blame they're going to blame the spouse filing divorce even without evidence or admission. That said I'm not suggesting writing your name on the evidence, that's counter productive to the objective. They could even anonymously mail themselves the evidence after its sent to the company before filing divorce or confronting their spouse.

Are they different levels on the management structure? Report to each other? If so, you could use that information as well. I want to make you aware that X and Y are having an affair and it is affecting both production and the work environment. (Use the levels/reporting structure in here). You don't give enough information for us to come up with good suggestions, I think. I mean, I think the basic would be to just figure out who he reports to and provide evidence that he's having an affair with another person at the company. Or contact Human Resources directly. There might also be liability here that the company wants to avoid. If you tell the company that they're having an affair and the company doesn't notify the people involved, there might be some liability if there's something like suicide or a lawsuit involved. That's probably the best way for you to do something. Corporations will go and do anything to mitigate risk and liability.

Yeah you absolutely do need to be careful. Honestly, I wouldn't do anything janky to him at work. No anon letters, no hijinks, no nothing. Contact a divorce lawyer immediately. Also if you can, hire a private investigator to get some evidence. Then blast him in court. Besides, you don't want him to get fired. He'll need that job to keep paying you alimony.
