“I suppose if I want to take my wife and my mistress for a drive I’ve got that covered” man I fucking die laughing every time

All of Hammond’s lines in that episode killed me.

His French accent isn't particularly convincing to me, but the way he delivers his lines is still funny.

THIS RIGHT HERE is exactly what I came to say. In the Carnage a trois episode and season 5 episode, Eurocrash. the first half hour, Clarkson and Hammond have arrived at a racetrack, picked their race car and proceed to get situated in the chosen cars. However, Clarkson seriously struggles to properly fit - as in, arse on seat.Hammond notices starts to laugh which, his particular laugh at that moment in and of itself is funny. At 22:23 in, Clarkson says, "I mean, that is it. My arse is [showing Hammond approximate distance using his thumb and forefinger] that far out of the seat." Hammond replies, "Oh dear" and is a very short and simple response however, had me dyyyyying.

100% same!!! His French accent got me EVERY DAMN TIME. In season 5, episode 2 [Eurocrash] there is another instance of the way Hammond says something, cracked me up. He doesn't say it in an accent. It's more the nearly but not quite flat delivery that split my side. In the first half hour, Clarkson and Hammond have arrived at a racetrack, picked their race car and proceed to get situated in the chosen cars. Especially "a big fat illness" a big fat heavy illness. 😆😆😆
