I always read Picard’s love of the Enterprise and its crew as his main interest and had no time for “fast” women. Look how he avoid majel Barrett ALL THE TIME 😆
rad2themax@reddit
Plus he had his regular "breakfasts" with Beverly.
When Vash comes back in Qpid and finds out Picard keeps his private life private and no one knows about her, his embarrassment and how she leans into it is just great.

We just watched the episode Menage a Troi the other day.
I love that exchange between Majel and Patrick at the end, where Picard pretends to wax poetic to get them back to safety. Of course, Lwaxana wants to keep going... then Picard turns to Wesley: "Mr. Crusher, set course for Betazed. Warp nine!"

This episode is one I have spoken about a few times. Man can handle life and death of thousands of people, but around a confident interested woman he underperforms. James T Kirk was fully aware of the male and female dynamic and he masterfully rose to the occasion on many accounts whereas Picard (who is still my favorite) seemed to underperform with women. He did okay with the “I am for you” girl who came out of a cocoon or whatever but he should have been more masculine, more macho, more sex driven and more confident with Vash right out the gate

The man wasn't there for jamaharon. He just wanted to read his book in peace. So could you step aside? You're blocking his light.
cooscoos3@reddit
If he’s not there for jamaharon, why is he openly displaying the horga'hn?
Waste-Dragonfruit229@reddit
A horga'hn?... DAMN YOU RIKER!!!

He looked like a man who could handle trouble
Bowlholiooo@reddit
Are you by any chance, one of those rare, right wing, Andrew tate fan, star trek fans?
rianbrolly@reddit
God no. lol
AlteranNox@reddit
Picard is very good at reading people, and I think his bullshit meter picked up on her shenanigans immediately. So I always saw him as being cautious and leaving his guard up around her.
setokaiba22@reddit
Always loved me a bit of Vash
spaghettibolegdeh@reddit
She loved a bit of Picard's artifacts
endothird@reddit
It was a horga'hn conclusion she would.
Darmok47@reddit
So did Patrick Stewart, evidently. He ended up having an affair with Jennifer Hetrick that ended his first marriage.
mi__to__@reddit
Didn't he bang Marina Sirtis too?
Captain's privilege, or something.
atticdoor@reddit
No, nothing like that happened between the main cast. Stewart and Sirtis, both being British, did like talking about football though. Most people in LA knew nothing about it.
setokaiba22@reddit
I’ve never heard this?
Strobertat@reddit
Don't hate the player.
Antique_futurist@reddit
I don’t know who said that, but it probably wasn’t Patrick Stewart’s first wife.
Looks-Under-Rocks@reddit
Vaush was such an absolute smokeshow
610Mike@reddit
Those were some seriously short shorts he wore in that episode, even for the 90’s those were short.
Manticore1023@reddit
hoochie daddy shorts for mon capitan.

HA!
Character_Lychee_434@reddit
Man Picard and vash has me acting up 🥵
Garguyal@reddit
And we've all been seeking Jamaharon ever since.
TroyTrekker@reddit
That Tox Utat thing was nothing but trouble.
jpowell180@reddit
Do you expect to believe those feeble lies?
TerribleAdvice78@reddit
I was like that looks like Rom, yep sure enough it is Max
Legitimate_Lion_3575@reddit
I love Rom.
