People don’t appreciate how hard it is to put a year together as a working actor. Even working actors with decent credit in their history. And when they don’t have enough residuals or work in the year they gotta do something to pay the bills.

Trader Joe’s has good benefits too. If acting isn’t steady enough for SAG benefits you can lose healthcare. I would definitely do 32 hours a week unionized retail to qualify for quality healthcare for my family and get out of the house in my community.

We mainly know him from the Cosby show. Have to think his income from that show was impacted by the Cosby crimes. Since then he was still trying to make it as an actor but my guess is he never got the role that would set him up strong financially I hate reality tv but I would watch one that centered around actors who we have seen who are still hustling trying to get roles while also working other jobs.

This was the first time we saw him this season and he had maybe less than 2 minutes of screen time. From the outside looking in I would say not much. With that said, given where the show is going, he could get more screen time.

Literally had this convo w my wife last night when he came on. Cosby Show should be airing nonstop like Seinfeld or the like, but for Bill being a POS. Keith Hernandez said he makes $5k in residuals annually for his single episode appearance on Seinfeld. Imagine what Geoffrey and the other cast would be pulling if the show was everywhere.

I'm in agreement it should be on bigger networks but it actually is on daily on TV One. I recorded every episode on Hulu and have been going through the seasons with my kids. They're loving it! It also gives me an opportunity to discuss the differences with people in reality and who they are on tv, the importance of the portrayal of positive role models that look like us, and so many other things they won't learn in school. I love how the guest stars are a who's who of the late 80's/early 90's.

I’m happy for him! I didn’t know about his latest break (haven’t heard of The Pitt either), but I’m happy things worked out for him. He ended up on a show called Poppa’s House after the big so-called Trader Joe’s “sCaNdAl” - I think Tyler Perry saw the viral photos and gave him a role on the show.
