Where are my fellow aviation nerds?

I (53F) have been scouring the meetup groups for other planespotters and haven’t found any. Although I have no issue going to air shows, museums, and other aviation events by myself, I’d love to find other folks who scramble to open the ADS-B exchange when they hear an Airbus overhead or run to the window when they hear multiple helicopters (“I spy a chinook!!” As others look on awkwardly). So rather than post on R4Rdfw which is NOT the same subreddit I remember from a few years ago lol, I figured I’d ask here.
Also I’m a huge fan of the blancolirio channel on YouTube. I couldn’t ever be a pilot unfortunately due to overall poor vision, but watching his channel, particularly when he films his own flying, is as close as I can get.
(Btw, my other interests are weightlifting, short “cardio” hikes in nature, stargazing, playing pinball, going to vintage car shows, whisky tasting, dancing, and scouring DFW for the best NY style pizza. I have yet to be fully satisfied by my findings 😝).

Judging by the number of airlines headquartered here, we’re at work.

If you ever find yourself in Frisco, then check out Slice House by Tony Gemignani for a slice of their pepperoni NY style pizza.

Speaking of, I spotted a Chinook heading north parallel to 75 a week ago. 😝
Juan Browne is great.
Throwing these out there since you listed the other interests...
IIRC, corrected vision at 20/40 is good enough for a third class medical and private pilot's license. You can always do an experience/intro flight or log some dual time although gas prices are currently a bit prohibitive.
The biggest (claimed and believable) British car show in the US is every year at White Rock Lake and about a month from now. British Emporium in Grapevine has a small British show every year and there's an Italian car show during the Grapevine Grapefest.

For star gazing, Texas Astronomical Society folks have a public star fest in Frisco when the weather is nice. I think there's a Facebook page that generally announces if they're going to no-show due to weather.

I was considering buying Microsoft Flight Sim (which I know are super expensive) but I’ve downloaded some apps just for entertainment to learn basic instrumentation and test myself. But I’ll definitely check out a discovery flight or intro flight. If I have to squint hard at the controls between my contact lenses and glasses on top of that, then I’ll know it’s not in the cards lol.
I’ve noted down the car shows too, thanks for the great info!
