How to make it about me, edition.
lobotominizer@reddit
Thats every female
thereoncewasahat@reddit
There so be Iranian women taking photos of the falling American fighter jet right now, with the exactly same set up.
'Look how pretty I am inshallah'.
All you'll see is a burka right enough..... but still,
duroudes@reddit
sweet propaganda
StevenAdamsInDallas@reddit
I wanted to ask you how did your mind go towards the war in Iran based on this picture but then reminded myself that the majority of people on Reddit are mentally unwell.
thereoncewasahat@reddit
Iranians just shot down an F15. They're trying to rescue the pilot.
Photographs of the fighter pilot may well turn up online over the next hour.
It's going to be very grim.
StevenAdamsInDallas@reddit
Oh wow! Poor F-15, I'm sure the aircraft was there for humanitarian reasons. Thank God for president Trump, for he will bring the peace from Stone Age to the Iranian people.
thereoncewasahat@reddit
Your comments are shite but your gifs are wonderful. I am conflicted.
StevenAdamsInDallas@reddit
You haven't reached my level of shitposting.
HefflumpGuy@reddit
Saying something negative about Trump? Wow, You're so original and unique!
StevenAdamsInDallas@reddit
Wow, you're so cool supporting Trump. Here's your increase in social credit! You're so unique for supporting dichotomic schizopolitics! How brave and cool of you!
HefflumpGuy@reddit
I don't support Trump or any other so called world leader. I just think Trump haters are a special kind of stoopid.
StevenAdamsInDallas@reddit
And Trump supporters are the same special kind of stupid.
HefflumpGuy@reddit
I agree. You're all as stupid as each other
Tack22@reddit
Thereâs gonna be a war movie about it, and itâs gonna make millions
shinsnatcher@reddit
They've already rescued one of them
thereoncewasahat@reddit
And another plane just crashed.

Swimming_Register_32@reddit
Rockets are big missiles bro.
rwwrou@reddit
nope. missiles are guided, rockets are not, a guided rocket is a missile.
however if you take guidance away from a missile it isnt necessarily a rocket because not all missiles uses rocket-engines, so a missile doesnt have to be a guided rocket, but a guided rocket is always a missile.
HOWEVER there are cases where rockets equipped later with basics guidance kits may get a name like âguided rocketâ, they are however definitionally missiles.
Verbofaber@reddit
Nope. If I throw a rock at you, thatâs still a missile. Youâre trying too hard to pigeonhole words into modern military classifications when theyâre quite fluid, depending on era, eg flying bombs is another term.
rwwrou@reddit
youâre completely ignoring relevant context, we were discussing rockets and missiles, the context matters and its pretty clear to anyone but the most pedantic âi dont get invited to parties anymoreâ style person to bring up your âpointâ.
Verbofaber@reddit
You made a blanket statement and rely on context to cover up your shortcoming? Oof
rwwrou@reddit
how autistic are you if you think context is a cover up in dialogue?
some people
Spretzur@reddit
Gonna guide my missile payload right at your mom
HefflumpGuy@reddit
all I saw there was 'ackshully!'
SeaTill1864@reddit
Thank you, anon. Your rocket based autism was greatly appreciated.
Unacceptable_Lemons@reddit
Yeah, I was reading the comment in âTorâs Cabinetâ narration internally, and thinking âthis sounds like rocket autism. Yep, itâs 4chan sub, definitely autismâ
bittercripple6969@reddit
" - Von Braun, 1947.
Spretzur@reddit
StevenAdamsInDallas@reddit
But rockets with burkas are just suicide bombers.
Varangus@reddit
Yeah bro, totally unhinged to go from "woman taking photo of herself near a rocket" to "woman taking a photo of herself near airplane".
StevenAdamsInDallas@reddit
Yeah bro, you do have a room temperature IQ. Fr, fr, no cap shieet.
Hedgehog-Moist@reddit
Lol this is the most hilarious comment ive read this week
DonnieMoistX@reddit
2 month old account with the post history hidden. I donât think itâs hard to figure out why all they want to talk about is the War in Iran.
-BuckarooBanzai-@reddit
So is the majority of muslims. Your point ?
ywhine@reddit
This comment and the wider OP reminds me of how when that plane went down in Ukraine about 10 years ago, some villagers raided the suitcase and luggage, to the extent some woman wore stolen makeup from said luggage and posted Instagram selfies.
FatGuyANALLIttlecoat@reddit
I mean, seeing a rocket reflected in glasses is a cool image artistically, but the point stands about intent. If you want to show the object, take a picture of the object.
tailoredbrownsuit@reddit
Could you not argue that this person wanted to capture a personal memory? Anyone can take a picture of the rocket launch on its own. To have a picture of yourself with the rocket launch happening signals that you were there at that time.
The cropped version is a really cool picture
FatGuyANALLIttlecoat@reddit
agreed
bing_crosby@reddit
But the point of the image isn't the rocket, it's her awestruck and joyful reaction to it.
rlaxowns@reddit
Which tbf, she seems genuinely happy about it so I don't really get the hate lmao
IcyGarage5767@reddit
Itâs a woman. Of course you understand why it is getting hate.
endelifugl@reddit
This is incel city, hatred for women is just par for the course
SexualPie@reddit
$200 says she took lots of other pictures. lots with pictures of A2 launch as well. but this is the only one we're seeing. likely but one of the girls incel friends on facebook who wants to shit on her for some reason.
isademigod@reddit
Yeah, if i wanted to see a picture of the rocket, iâd google a picture of the rocket.
But also, itâs fun to poke fun at people for doing a meme in real life, right up until the point that all the incels join in with shitty gotchas about âwomen making everything about themselvesâ
Tack22@reddit
Thereâs a million pictures of the rocket.
Which picture are we all talking about?

A closer shot with mirror lens aviator sunglasses would've been incredibly cool and symbolic.
StevenAdamsInDallas@reddit
Oh yes, so artistic, should've brough a mirror, to see the reflection in the mirror. Should've pissed right there on the field, to capture the reflection of the rocket in the pond of piss.
tailoredbrownsuit@reddit
Going to devils advocate - if you are taking a picture of a moment in time, is it not more interesting to have something more personal?
Imagine being that person, and having this picture as a personal memory. I get it.
It's when its shared online, people just see a stranger's face and it solicits a reaction "who is this person? I don't care about this person. Why are they making this noteworthy event about themselves?"
Thai-Girl69@reddit
Isn't the whole point of being a woman just advertising yourself to people in the hope they will want to take of them being as they are incapable of taking care of themselves?
Positive-Face1705@reddit
this is sad.âââ
GodTierShitPoster@reddit
thereâs someone with a professional camera next to her whatâs weird about taking a selfie lol
oby100@reddit
Selfie culture is a general sickness. If you have friends with the disease, theyâre unbearable to go anywhere cool with because their thoughts are firmly set on what the best selfie will be.
This one is particularly egregious because instead of watching the rocket launch she presumably cares about, sheâs turned her camera on her rat face for the soul purpose of capturing an image like this.
This was the result she hoped for and planned because sheâs well intrenched in a rotten culture
MentokTehMindTaker@reddit
Its inherently narcissistic
gbdman@reddit
Taking a picture of yourself when youâre happy=rotten culture

Bro if you want to see the rocket turn on the stream. Are you stupid?
bulborb@reddit
Probably because her followers don't want to see pictures of rockets, they want to see pictures of her. Everyone who doesn't understand this is autistic.
StevenAdamsInDallas@reddit
They want to see the pictures of her rockets, true.
maicii@reddit
Well it is her profile lol

DankElderberries420@reddit
I thought it was cum on her glasses, like one thin rope that landed there
BongWaterRamen@reddit
This is what the old 4chan would be discussing. Objectifying women instead of straight up hating them
Loathe_the_Hive@reddit
Genuinely, who is hating? Idt you know what hate looks like.Â
Snoot_Boot@reddit
Idt?
You shortened "i don't think?" you could shorten it even further if you just typed out nothing
Loathe_the_Hive@reddit
I was looking back at old comments and I just gotta say: this is ALL you had? You got SOOOO butthurt over my innocent comment, that you tried shitting on me for using abbreviations?
That's actually pretty pathetic dude and I would be embarrassed if I whiffed that bad.Â
BongWaterRamen@reddit

Street_Exercise_4844@reddit
It's a little funny, that she was seemingly taking a picture of her reaction to the rocket, rather than a picture of the rocket herself
R4ndom_Hero@reddit
Why would you even attempt to take such photo when there's at least 20 professional photographers around taking it with their expensive cameras/lenses. Just fucking watch and enjoy the moment.
Valuable-Chipmunk784@reddit
It's a historic moment, you can show your children or grandchildren "Look, this is the photo I took of the thing you learned about in history class."
Petesaurus@reddit
Or you could say "Look, this is how excited I was to personally witness this historical event". I don't think one is better than the other
SapirWhorfHypothesis@reddit
These are the people who would post pictures of the Eiffel Tower after their visit to Paris. Like what the fuck do I wanna see your photo of a rocket for? Thereâs a million photos of the Eiffel Tower and the arc de triumph.
Unacceptable_Lemons@reddit
Well, hereâs a photo I took of a mushroom that I can basically guarantee no one has ever specifically posted a photo of, and that you absolutely have not seen: https://imgur.com/a/3TiQGCz

She explained that this is the still from the video she was taking. She was filming the rocket and then she turned the camera on her self to film her reaction to it. She liked how the rocket was visible in her glasses so she screenshot it. Thatâs it.

this person doesnât know about dual filming

Mishi_Mujago@reddit
Iâm just gonna play devils advocate for a moment and put this out there that maybe she was making a bit of a joke. The absurdity of taking a victorâs of something through the reflection in your glasses lens. I know there is a LOT of effort on 4chan to hate on women but maybe this one is a bit of a stretchâŠ

Hot take , a picture of yourself at a unique event is more memorable than just a picture of the event itself, there are loads of pictures of the launch from everyone else there, but this is a more personal and interesting picture than most of the other ones.

Taking pictures of yourself? Nice try narcissist. Ever heard a little thing called HUMILITY?

I had a light-hearted argument about this with my wife as we were at a museum. I was just walking around taking pictures of cool stuff. She was baffled, and insisted one of us had to be in it at least. And I'm like, I'm trying to take a picture of a thing, why would I also be in it? I don't have social media, the only utility of these pictures are for me to look at later, show my kids, or maybe send to a friend. And that's where I found the dividing line. Who is the photo for? If it is just for private sharing and looking at in your camera roll, there is absolutely no reason why you need to include yourself. Anyone who looks at it will know the context that you were the one taking it. Its only online strangers that there's a feeling that more context is needed. Or that we need to openly show that we are smiling and having a good time at the place.
wordjedi@reddit
Hot take, take a photo of the launch with your cool car in the foreground. Proves you were there, and I dunno CAR

Buncha boomers.
Uni4m@reddit

Luwuci-SP@reddit
No, just anons being regarded as usual. There's plenty of plain pictures of the launch directly, and anon is too autistic to understand the concept of framing or how to take a selfie anyway. There's even some extra value in how the launch was literally caught within the framing of her glasses. The wonder in her eyes is respectable.
BrocoliAssassin@reddit
No, it's cause its performative.
If she was actually trying to capture the launch in her glasses she would have had a close up shot from the start instead of the wide angle shot that has all the shit in the background and not focused on the reflection in her glasses. It would be stupid to do a wide angle shot and get less resolution on the reflection, and it also looks much worse.
So yeah, you are a regard as well.
gbdman@reddit
