I am UTTERLY fascinated by this banana water. Does it taste like banana, or banana screaming in the next room? Does it actually have any meaningful levels of potassium or is it just a gimmick?
JeffersonsHat@reddit
Banana's are 80% water, so it likely tastes like a regular banana. Gonna try it cause bananas are amazing.
SupernaturalPumpkin@reddit
Love bananas but I don't think I could enjoy them in any kind of liquid form except for in a smoothie with other fruits. Especially such a... watery form?
NegotiationTall4300@reddit
Thats what i thought till i tried it

If you don't like it, I'll refund you personally hahaha.
NegotiationTall4300@reddit
Its crack if you like bananas i had one can then ordered a 12 pack online

It's delicious! The only ingredient is banana. I'd post a picture of the nutrition label if I could. It has 450mg of potassium. A bunch of other vitamins too.
lawlacaustt@reddit
Idk man I really hope there is some water in there or something. Might be hard to drink otherwise.
lichdad@reddit
Oh no, it is precisely what it says it is. Banana Water. Not banana paste. Not banana smoothie. Banana Water.
OkJoke4711@reddit
I was wondering too. I'm keeping an eye out for banana water.
lichdad@reddit
They have a banana chocolate and banana strawberry version too. Banana chocolate is unsettling but exactly what its supposed to be.
Uchihagod53@reddit
I'm guessing $5/can
dieek@reddit
Quick search shows \~$2.50
lichdad@reddit
Correct. Winn Dixie has it for this price. However, do not order it on Amazon. They're price gouging there.
The_Headless_Vance69@reddit
not even close
Zerostar39@reddit
I’ve seen it at the store and have been very curious about it. You’ve inspired me to give it a try
Fomulouscrunch@reddit
That's a lot of potassium. The kind of amount that would mean making sure a toilet was nearby for the next several hours.
chocolate_spaghetti@reddit
It does taste like banana and as someone who loves bananas, it’s horrifying. I’m pretty open minded and there are very few foods a don’t like but this was one that left me wondering how anyone could find consuming it an enjoyable experience
ParmesanB@reddit
I too love bananas and hate having their essence captured in any other medium. Tried banana ice cream and even that was not for me.
jm90012@reddit
I love fish and canned fish. But what the heck is banana water?
lichdad@reddit
It is precisely what you think, and better than you imagine. If youre unsure, there's a strawberry banana version that's a little more conventional.

Holy shit
Fidel_Cashflows@reddit
In the mustard sauce? If you’re gonna nuke your breakroom’s trash cans at least have the decency to get the tomato or hot sauce ones.
MadamVoid@reddit
BANANA WATER?!

HELLLLL YEAH

I love this

After reading comments, I'm relieved to find that banana water is not just some bullshit where they have like, a glass of water that they briefly dunked a banana in and dared to call it artisanal fruit essence water.

There’s always money in the banana water stand
Rhodin265@reddit
The cotton box really elevates this dish…about 4 feet off the floor.
Eiiiights@reddit (OP)
I have to eat in the backroom away from my coworkers/friends. And I'm not allowed to throw the cans away inside the building, which is understandable but my daily meal is ostracized by everyone.
Another_Limp_Carrot@reddit
Banana water is delicious! Very light and hydrating—not thick like a smoothie.
The tinned fish can go back to hell where it came from…
DragonTigerBoss@reddit
Shit. You reminded me that I didn't bring my sardines to work today.
Eiiiights@reddit (OP)
Oh the humanity! Brunswick was my daily driver but for some reason they've been out of stock everywhere and discontinued them from our warehouse. But I agree, chicken of the sea is up there for budget dines.

That banana water is so fire it's like drinking banana bread. Somehow only 80 kcals per can?
The_Headless_Vance69@reddit
this is fake
TrainingFilm4296@reddit
Ah yes, banana water. The soft drink nobody asked for...
pocketMagician@reddit
You need canned medium fish
Unusual_Plum_4630@reddit
Banana water? Never heard of it. Sounds good, not with canned fish though 😂
