Needing help knowing what to buy for a gaming pc

hey folks, I'm looking to build a new gaming pc. my current PC I've had since I was 12(20 now). I do online school and work full time and live with my family so I have a decent amount of money I can/willing to drop.
my main issue is I don't really even have a clue where to start looking and what would be good for a gaming pc I didn't build mine and don't know what would be best.
I mainly mod(I somehow got my old PC which was outdated even when I was 12 to run 120 modlist FNV playthroughs but can't run Minecraft java lol) & play single player games but sometimes play multiplayer games like TF2 and Minecraft.
what parts do you folks recommend?
I am in the united states

Max budget and are you near a microcenter?

Max budget is 2500 and nearest one is a hour drive from me

are you willing to make the commute or nah?

If you're near a microcenter then I'd do the following:
-9800X3D bundle = $679.99 - RTX 5070ti = ~$1000 - 1 TB NVME = $179.99 - 1000w PSU = $179.99 - chassis of your choosing = ~$100-$200$
So far that leaves us with anywhere between 2100-2200 so far.
With budget up to 2500, you can consider an RTX 5080 instead, which provides an additional 15% performance uplift on average above the 5070ti. Otherwise, can more storage space or something

For the best help you'll want to list out the following:
Budget
What you want to do with the machine (list of games, any other software it needs to run)

2500 budget, mainly heavily mod games like fallout new Vegas, Skyrim, Morrowind. And play multiplayer Minecraft. Thinking about a lil content creation too.
Nearest microcenter is a hour away

Sadly, pre builts offer the best bang for the buck any time there is a massive supply shortage. I would check out the above one from microcenter. For reference, a 5080, 2tb SSD, and the RAM alone would cost you about $1800-$2000 from what I see on other retailers. You're basically getting the rest of the computer for $500 at that point.
You could also check Costco since they usually offer similar competitive pre-builts.

Check Costco for their prebuilt
