Totally French.
FA-MAS Félin in the hands of the second soldier.
VAB in the background.
Only thing weird is the battledress. The camouflage is not the French CE.

The soldier standing up is using a FAMAS (possibly the Velorise model).
MlackBesa@reddit
Those are indeed French soldiers but this thing is super old as the FAMAS is a FÉLIN model, which was our « soldier of the future » program back in the 2000s. Looking at the sling on the FAMAS I’d say this pic is from the 2010s
IntelligentSilver792@reddit
Ngl,firing rifle grenades out of FAMAS rifles should be listed as one of the CIA's most brutal torture methods
MlackBesa@reddit
FAMAS rifle grenades are responsible for a few broken noses in the army :-) there’s even a YouTube video of it happening and the instructor immediately going like « alright, see, here’s exactly what not to do » lmao

Thank you for further identifying the time period!

Milipol 2011, specifically a Rheinmetall weapons demo. Specifically showing off a digital aiming system for the Fly-K.

LOL! Thanks, the picture really gave the feeling of « we’re still showing the FÉLIN program even though everyone knows it’s dead » lmao

And a VAB in the background

Reminds me of the Japanese knee mortar.
IlluminatedPickle@reddit
Noobs aren't even firing it from the knee.
