Great Wolf Lodge for young children?

Can anyone let me know if Great Wolf Lodge has enough activities for young children (age 3 and under)? Trying to plan a family event and looking at staying here. Let me know your experiences!

While the are young go on an off week while other kids are in school and people are working. Cheaper and less crowded

When my kids were young they had a great time doing this wand adventure that led them all over the property. They interact with various “artifacts” and have to solve puzzles. They were unexpectedly into it.

Paradise Springs at the Gaylord is across the street of you are interested in comparing the two.
I have not been to Great Wolf Lodge, but a family member went recently and was not impressed.

Go to The Cove at Little Elm instead if you want to do an indoor water park for toddlers. The Cove's toddler section is pretty much the same size as GWL's, but it's a much easier day and less expensive.
I took my 3.5yo to GWL a few months ago. She actually didn't like the water park that much, so we did the arcade and I got her a wand to point at the MagiQuest stations. The resort was really expensive. We probably won't go back until she's big enough for all the slides and really wants to go there.

YMMV but the one time we went to Great Wolf Lodge with my kids it was a total shitshow. Tons of people, everything is stupidly expensive, AC didn't work in our room, and the accommodations left a lot to be desired. We left early because it was just all around not a good time. And my kids were much older than 3.
A water park slash hotel slash arcade is not somewhere I'd ever take a 3 year old, and you'd have to pay me double the cost of the stay for me to take my kids there again.

From when we took my daughter (she was 11), it seemed like most activities were geared towards older kids. There were some splash pads in the pool and water park areas and they had story time activities, but that is all I remember.
