PMC and Fiocchi has been the lowest priced bulk ammo that has been widely available. They are reliable, safe and often provide decent sized groupings in many barrels. I won't fire any Turkish rifle ammo due to some manufacturing lot numbers have had poor quality, poor reliability, and some of it has been unsafe in the past.
I bought some 9mm 115gr Monarch that I had hoped would still come from Magtech in Brazil but I got ZSR. ZSR, BPS, and TRN all come from Turkey. My ZSR 9mm ammo muzzle speeds vary from 1000 to 1200 FPS. 200 FPS spread for 9mm is terrible.

I've been buying monarch two to three times a year over the past three years or so. Most of it has been Brazillian with some Turkish thrown in there if I am desperate. All has worked flawlessly for me surprisingly enough. I know that magtech has a better reputation which is why I try to get it if I can go in store. The last time I bought, I got Brazilian brass about 5 months ago.

I ordered it online during their 2024 Black Friday sale. Some still claim they can find made in Brazil (Magtech) 115gr brass Monarch in their stores but I have no local store. I also read someone claim he bought Monarch 5.56 that has BPS headstamps on it. I bought Monarch 5.56 in the first half of 2024 back when it was still made by Magtech. It is okay but does not provide smaller groups in my rifles like X-Tac or Fiocchi 5.56 have done.

FYI on the monarch 9mm: What quantity of a box you get depends on which manufacturers they use. I only buy the 250 round boxes when they go on sale for .20 cpr but have found either ZSR (not to say there aren't other Turkish brands in there as well) stamped brass or magtech. I usually go into a store so I can look for the Made in Brazil marked boxes. Online ordering is a crap shoot whether you will get one or the other.
Also the packaging between the two countries is different. The ZSR packaging was just 5 50 round boxes in a bigger box while the Brazilian stuff is stacked in the 250 round box with 50 round "organizers" for a lack of a better term cushioned by what looks like phenolic blocks.

I picked up 500rnds of their 115g 9mm and M193. The 9mm is horrible. A couple dozen light primer strikes, fail to feed, stove pipes, weak ejection. Tried it in multiple guns. Same result. Very hard primers. Will never buy BPS again.
Side note, it’s great for training malfunctions though.

Have not shot bps 223/5.56, but use their 124grn 9mm as range ammo, it functions, smells weird, is dirty, cycles everything I've tried it in, and I have yet to have issues with it over about 1600 rounds at this point.

There is no other 556 right now that's brass cased for 41 cents and I'm just gonna use this to hold down the trigger anyways.

500 rounds through a 30 cal can and no issues. Not as physically dirty as WWB but the smell is god awful. Heavy on the sulfur like grandads egg farts 3 inches from your face. Would not recommend for a high back pressure cans or indoor use
