In terms of surface area, the Durrës Amphitheatre is slightly larger, but when it comes to height and seating capacity, the Pula Arena wins, thats why i called it bigger. Overall the Amphitheatre in Pula is much more grandiose and impressive.

Albanians? Probably not but Proto-Albanians surely they lived there. Durres was multiethnic back then having Proto-Albanians, Romans and Greeks. The evidence of this the Albanian language itself having the sound shifts of Latin loanwords that happened before 4th-5th century. Dyrrachium was also a disputed between the West and Eastern Romans due to its strategic importance as a starting point of Via Egnatia. And still is strategically important for the NATO allies today.
