Well working as a hotel receptionist I must say I got a top 3 for both:
Favorites: Americans, Canadians, Swiss, Austrian and German
Least faves: Israeli, Indians, Brits, French ,Italians
Mesenterium@reddit
Favourite: everyone but Russians. Least favourite: Russians.
Turbulent-Lime-2466@reddit
Israelis in Bulgaria were annoying as hell.
Mesenterium@reddit
I've heard that many times, but I've never met any
Excellent_Jeweler_43@reddit
Followed closely by Brits
NZBGSF@reddit
I have multiple passports but usually hide under my New Zealand citizenship in Balkans. I’m well accepted by most as a low key Kiwi guy & never get hassled. Назтаве!!

Estern Europeans are horrible tourists.
PuzzleheadedWeight18@reddit
When I was returning back to Belgrade through Warsaw Airport in Poland, I was suffering with severe dehydration and pain for days as I got nasty food poisoning. I almost lost consciousness twice, once at rented room entrance and airport entrance.
As I found free space to lie and rest (awaiting flight gate), some Eastern European (idk of Russian or Ukrainians) appeared with their child walking and screaming around unchecked. Then the child literally sat on me before I had to stand and tell of these people (as I was resting and in pain).
So YES, lot of them literally can have no filter or basic decency and space awareness (which I see in Belgrade all the time as they love to speak aloud as nobody else is in street).
_whatever_idc@reddit
Husband is a “businessman” on steroids, wife is a fake blonde entitled bitch and kids are raised by wolves.
Does that sound correct? 😅
PuzzleheadedWeight18@reddit
You know it actually does (both looked fake blonde), they just stared at gate like empty heads while the kid (that tbh looks 4-5 yo) was walking around good distance away from them.
They wouldn't even noticed their kid poking around if I didn't literally raised my voice at them.
As much as westerners can be annoying and entitled, they at least have BASIC space awareness of people around them. These people meanwhile.....holy shit.
Miserable-Ground-379@reddit
Jews
Anna_akademika@reddit
Wdym with that? Most people can't tell whether someone is Jewishh from just looking at them unless they are wearing religious clothes,Jewish etc
Adventurous-Sport-45@reddit
Either they mean Orthodox Jews (the ones who wear kippot, that sort of skullcap), Haredi Jews (the ones who wear the same, plus those old-fashioned hats), or Israelis (who don't have any particular kind of clothing, but you can tell because they speak Hebrew...also some of them are not Jews but rather Israeli Christian or occasionally Muslim Arabs, although those are as likely to speak Arabic as Hebrew).
Or I mean, maybe they just dislike people because of their religious ancestry. That's a possibility too.
Anna_akademika@reddit
I'm Jewish ik all of that, but a lot of Jewish people don't usually wear any religious elements, so just saying Jews feels odd, do they mean religious Jewish ppl?
GercektenGul@reddit
Is it possible you mean Israelis?
Trajektolinija@reddit
I will second this by saying that as someone who once worked in Croatian tourist industry, I have a rather bad experience with them.

What do you guys think of the Turkish tourists? because as a turk when I visit Sarajevo, I see a lot of like, conservative turkish families who choose to go to Bosnia only because its "europe but still muslim".
Suknjica_Od_Svile@reddit
Eastern Europeans are entitled. Generally want champagne on beer money.
AirialGunner@reddit
I don't have problems with tourists as long as they behave
Most difficult are Israeli tho
Vesko85@reddit
I travel quite a lot, and without a doubt the worst tourists are the Russians. There’s no nation that behaves more arrogantly than them. They cut in line, push others around, think they’re above everyone else, and show it at every opportunity. In second place I’d put the Chinese. If you happen to visit a landmark with a Chinese tour group, God help you. I’ll never forget how a friend and I were taking a photo when they came over and literally grabbed us and pushed us aside. They’re like a herd of wild bison. In third place are drunk Brits from the deep British countryside. They’re everywhere in popular destinations like Ibiza, Sunny Beach, Mykonos, Phuket, etc. Loud, shouting in dialect, vomiting, aggressive, and extremely dirty.
NoSync22@reddit
Croatian/Serbian diaspora.and Southern Italians.
Consistent-Shoe-9602@reddit
Most of the tourists that bother to come here seem pretty nice to me. The only ones that are trouble are the ones that go to the seaside to get drunk, but I never meet them, because I simply can't stand crowded seaside resorts, I only hear stories.
PusheKasp@reddit
Poor & drunk Brits, who think just because they are Brits are better in any way than locals. I've talked to some of them, and they all say they wouldn't be here if they had more money.
El_Jefe___@reddit
The most annoying tourists ever are the ones from England. A sentiment shared by most Spanish people.
Careful-Evening-5187@reddit
Poles and Baltics are generally welcome everywhere.
No-Championship-4632@reddit
I normally don't care but the worst experience I've had was with a Russian. Expected me to talk in Russian, got very offended by me switching to English, threw some tantrums and insulted me in Russian and it ended with me to go fuck himself in the ass in Bulgarian. OK probably not just that.
Hungry_Battery_Eater@reddit
I met a group of Australians in Nevsehir and they were the most fun interaction I've had with tourists. Shout out to those guys wherever they are now
gaia_28@reddit
I live in Bucharest, the capital. Many times, when I’m in the city center on a weekend evening, just out for a walk, I run into groups of English or German men who are drunk and very loud. They often act inappropriately, trying to flirt with almost every woman passing by.
I also find it frustrating when I’m walking through the center and there are big groups of tourists, and it’s difficult to get past them.
anchichita@reddit
Young Brits are the worst. They’re mostly drunk, loud, walking half naked on Unesco sites. Scandinavian families are the favorite. For the reference I live in Split, Croatia.
Aggravating_Fan_7322@reddit
My favorite tourist is Arturo, my friend who came to see me here last summer, it was an awesome week and we saw a bit of everything together :))
Ambitious_Jaguar1703@reddit
My favorite tourists are those I don't see. The ones overcrowding the old towns and peaking into your garden are my least favorite.
Mestintrela@reddit
Least favourite tourists : Brits, drunk without any shame or human decency and also arrogant.
Indians are also horrible but fortunately we don't have many YET. When they start coming in bigger numbers it will be inevitable that they will be the most despised tourists in Greece easily and will probably become banned in many places.
Favourite: Germans, Italians,French.
Inevitable_Motor_685@reddit
Favorite tourists: the ones that spend money
Least favorite tourists: the ones that don't spend money
MysticEnby420@reddit
In NYC, other Americans. In Greece, it's still Americans. I say this as someone who grew up in the United States that Americans will travel to real cities with real people and just act like they're in fucking Disney World. It's obnoxious.
deviendrais@reddit
Favourite: Everyone and anyone! Please come and give money 🙏
Least favourite: russians
Young_Owl99@reddit
Oh that would surprise me.
What’s wrong with them ?
Mesenterium@reddit
Loud, obnoxious, entitled, speak only Russian and get offended if you don't understand them.
Aggravating_Hat4799@reddit
Drunk Brits on the Greek islands. And, Russians
Young_Owl99@reddit
Favourite is by far Japanese or Korean.
I went on a boat trip with few Japanese tourist couples in it.
My own people shouted around, jumped of boat and made others wet and overall annoy others while the Japanese couples calmly swimmed took their pictures and gathered all their trashes on their tables and took with themselves even though they don’t have to in Turkey. I was emberresed.
Least favourite: None. I didn’t have bad encounteres with tourists.
Brilliant_Success346@reddit
Germans
They have the audacity to speak their shitty language when they ask for directions (expecting you to understand them)
sjedinjenoStanje@reddit
It's not based on nationality, that's for sure. And even then 99% of tourists are just fine.
I live in an extremely touristy city (San Francisco) and tourists are rarely a problem. They tend to go to parts of the city that I, as a resident, never go to.
jaunmilijej@reddit
Favorite must be Americans. They’re talkative, open, very curious about everything and just show that they’re having a great time.
Least favorite by far Arabs (mostly from the Gulf States). They’re rude, entitled, and have the mentality that they can behave any way they want just because they have a lot of money. Also, I don’t like seeing one old man followed by four women in a black burqa behind him.
xerohawkxd@reddit
least favorite: french
netanyahu pls nuke the french

Japanese are great, but I'm not a fan of Russians and Brits.
