Having seen a story about a guy who kept getting outdoor cats as his went missing. Turned out he lived somewhere with dingos which were eating his cats, and he was essentially feeding them.. Far cry from yeeting Tiddles to the curb before work and retrieving it afterwards, I'd imagine.

I got downvoted to oblivion for saying my cat loves being outside. The pet ones are so bad. I mentioned I make a sharp noise to distract my pup when he barks so I can give the "quiet" command. and the mods gave me a roasting linked me to a rule thing that says making a loud noise is as bad as electric collars and hanging a dog by its neck WTF? But no one gave a hoot about someone who says to someone who is trying to get thier pup used to a lead , thats its ok because they never walk their three giant dogs as they can use the garden.

This has always been a thing. A lot of Americans are interested in country-specific subs because of heritage etc, which is great, but it is funny to see them fall hard on understanding stuff. For example they're pretty notorious for not understanding British sarcasm and humour.
